I just retired and studied at ASLI for 6 weeks then travelled for 3 months in Latin America. I am so impressed with ASLI and their teachers because now I am fluent in Spanish. Thank you to everyone at the school!

I went to ASLI for an immersion program to prepare for the FSI proficiency exam. Not only did I pass, I got a far higher score than I was expecting, thanks to the excellent teachers and home stay immersion program at ASLI. I found the teachers to be every bit as professional and experienced as the State Department instructors, and perhaps better. After the class, I continued studying with ASLI via Skype. Overall, it was a great experience, one that I have recommended to other foreign service colleagues and friends.

They were able to organize, present, and practice with me a great deal of material, in a way that stayed interesting and fun, despite the intensive immersion schedule. More than that though, by the end of my two-week stay, I truly felt personally close to both of my teachers, and to the other staff at ASLI with whom I had interacted. The super-hospitable welcome, and the sense of a genuine personal connection went way beyond what I was expecting from a two-week stay. I would recommend ASLI to anyone!
A	Alison Lucas on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just got back from studying at ASLI Spanish Language Institute for 3 week. I also did a homestay arranged by the school. I LOVED all of it. My teachers and host family were excellent. Everything was well-structured and very professional: I had 3 hours of grammar lessons and 3 hours of conversational practice a day at the school, and then the learning continued in the evening with activities like cooking classes, excursions, and conversation with my host family. I learned several university courses' worth of material in those intensive 3 weeks, and I had so much fun that time just flew by. One more thing, the food prepared by my host family was fantastic. So it was a great foodie experience too. :) I highly recommend ASLI!

Time is divided for building skills, practicing conversation and learning about the culture of Mexico and Cuernavaca. The families I've stayed with were also very accommodating and helpful. The rooms were very clean and private and the hostesses were GREAT cooks! I felt welcome, encouraged and learned so much in such a short time. Cuernavaca is a great city with a rich history and so many great things to experience!
