Atelier Playa Mujeres - Zona Continental

The Atelier Playa Mujeres is a beautiful resort. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The pool and beach areas are among the best we have seen. The food is very good with a lot of choices. For the most part the staff is great and very friendly. If I had any complaints it would be the lack of food options for lunch and we experienced some rudeness from the hostesses when we tried to go to dinner. The week we were here was very busy so there were some longer waits for dinner, which we didn't mind. But when you went to put your name in for dinner the first couple of nights they were rude about us being there. There was also one incident at the lobby bar where they told my son they were too busy to make him a specific drink. Outside of that everything was great. I would also add that I tested positive for Covid and could not fly back to the US as scheduled. The resort was phenomenal about it, they put me up in a quarantine room that had everything I needed, they tested me daily, I couldn't have asked for more from the resort and staff.

Definitely should come to this place, the staff greets you with a smile ALL THE TIME! They are so nice here, this resort is very nice and still has lots in store. Shout out to Christian and Maria at the Sports bar. They were great with making the drinks and entertaining. The gym is totally awesome, it is huge and has a lot of equipment. The beach is kind of small and it had alot of seaweed. That was a bummer but it was really warm and I got passed the seaweed

The resort was beautiful, both property and rooms, but when the weather is less than desirable there is not much to do other that eat and drink. My wife and I were hoping for more than one short show offered some nights. However if you want to eat and drink, drinks were good and food was excellent. Pool is a great size, but only one hot tub. Would consider going back to just relax when it is not as windy.

Fantastic! Well kept property and rooms. Our junior suite was perfect. Great views from any room. Air condition worked great, as well as plenty of hot water. The food, the service, the amenities were all great and clean. The staff was courteous and prompt at every turn. I would highly recommend this resort.

From the moment we arrived until we left, we had warm and happy support from the staff. Their cover the heart gestures were everywhere. Those staff members we spoke to were not only very friendly, they really know what they are teaching us. The room was terrific. The views were fabulous. Security was great. I can't even begin to form the superlatives about the food. It not only was some of the best food we've eaten, it was well served and looked as good as it tasted. We will do this again.

Good experience, but could be better. To start, two staff members stood out through our whole stay - Eduardo at the big pool, and Jonathon who took care of us in terms of room service. Both were accomodating, polite, and went above and beyond. Overall, room service (in terms of beverage refill, and bathroom restocking) could have been better especially when certain tasks were requested (and sometimes not fulfilled). The Steakhouse was the worst meal of the trip - orders were not correct, and to be honest, the room service steak was more consistent. We thoroughly enjoyed both the Japanese and Italian restaurants - staff were great, food was delicious. The resort is big enough to enjoy a long walk, but not too big that you felt you missed out if you didn't venture around. Overall, it was enjoyable, but there are definitely areas that can be improved.

The resort was beautiful and had plenty of restaurants. There was some issues with the rooms and the service. I came with together with a total of four families and the AC not working properly for three out of the four rooms. One room does not automatically close so you had to ensure that the door was closed before leaving and the room service for one kept getting skipped even though the cleaning was requested everyday. One server at Los Abrazos kept telling us that it was too much food when we were trying to order what we wanted such as the dessert and appetizer. The portions were small so it definitely not enough and I did not like that he was telling me what I could or could not eat at an all inclusive resort. We came in with four different groups and he only gave three plates of a medley dessert so I requested for an extra one and I saw some attitude. He kept saying special dessert, but not everyone wanted everything so he just forced it on us along with the appetizer choices. This was the only bad experience I had at the restaurants so far. Everywhere else had been superb and accommodating. I especially loved the room service! Lots of good choices and the dishes were delicious.

My Husband and I stayed at Atelier from 2/3/22 to 2/6/22. Check in was fast, but like always, we waste some of our vacation time with them trying to sell us a partnership. That was the only thing I did not like about our stay... The two employees that went above and beyond for us were Wilbert in the Italian Restaurant and Issac at the pool. Wilbert greeted us with a smile, made great food suggestions, and told us that he would be in the breakfast buffet as well- coincidentally, we were seated in his section for breakfast and again, he provided great service. Issac was also very attentive. Despite having a crowd around, he would be quick at getting my husband and I our drinks- since the first day, he made a genuine conversation with me, which I appreciated! Poolside service was also excellent. This resort has great food, beautiful rooms, and the beach was also beautiful. A Very modern and eclectic design, I enjoyed it for the most part.
