Bus had A/c the whole way and wiFi in one route.
Pretty legit, I would recommend to use for Merida to Progreso.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quick, and very cheap. Seems like there is another bus every 10 minutes and uts so close to the city center of both places. 41 pesos round trip. No bathrooms and try to get the bigger bus if you are over 5"6 or your legs will be very squashed but really it's a short trip less then 1 hour so not a big issue for most.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fast, clean, great service. I arrived in Progreso at the same time as a "crucero" and the bus station was jammed! It was fun but kind of embarrassing listening to the cruise ship passengers trying to chisel down the prices on the wares of the local vendors.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was hard to find initially and we were walking throughout the city but we found it and the power was out on this night we were able to use Google translate to see if we could buy the tickets on the bus and they said yes. We waited through two other buses. The line was long but we were able to get on the third bus out back to Merida. Buses ran every 15 minutes and 21 pesos to get back. It took 55 minutes and the buses were in good condition. Comfortable with good air conditioning. Definitely recommend from the ADO bus station to Progreso and back total cost 42 pesos.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great experience from Centro to Progreso, very comfortable, air conditioned coach bus, best part only $21 pesos each way. Last bus leaves Progreso 9pm.
