In my opinion the two dives with them were semi-professional: - first of all they didn't ask us for our dive licenses and how many dives we have done so far. So it is possible to go diving with them without having a license - the dive instructor didn't wear a dive computer or something else. We were the only one who had it. So that was really annoying that we were diving only for 45/50 minutes and we still had enough aire to dive 60 minutes. The depth was only 15meters. They didn't split up the group in faster and slower air consumers - moreover they didn't use a diving buoy to signal other boats that we are ascending at the end of our dive - sometimes we lost the dive instructor and he was not really showing us anything below.

I had two dives at Aventura Submarina. First of all I wanted to say that Jorge and his steerman is really nice and helpful. However I don't think the handling of the dives was very professional. We weren't asked of how many dives we had or had our licenses checked before signing up. I think this is important to gauge the experience of divers. The form we signed didn't had a minimum of information, no personal info (except name), no ICE no., no diving related info for our part, just the signature. Furthermore, we didn't go through any emergency procedures for the dive. Our first dive had very limited visibility <2m, which made me panic. We aborted the dive because I signaled to go up as I was afraid to get lost without a computer or anything. I think going through the common dive procedures(buddy check, equipment check, dive briefing, emergency procedures) would help greatly for lesser experienced divers to feel safe. It doesn't need to be a great deal but especially when you dive under circumstances with such limited visibility a minimum of emergency procedures etc. should not be skipped.

Jorge and Diego gave me a very warm welcome. The shop is well equipped (my colourful wetsuit was like new!) and they were very knowledgeable. The dives were both very good, lots to see and viz was 10-15 metres. Highly recommended.

Learnt to dive with these guys in September. They were fantastic, very thorough, safety focused and fantastic company. We're heading back there again!

I had a very good time with Aventura. Got my Advanced Open Water with them and really enjoyed it. Very good instructors. Highly recommend

Jorge is definitely one of my favorite instructors! I felt at home when I hung out with Jorge. He is very warm, kind, trustworthy, and accommodating. He has been diving for decades and enjoys sharing it with others. Jorge even invited me and my spouse to eat at his place after the dives. I truly had a great time and would absolutely dive with him again in the future.
