★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Satisfying experience, just beware that ignorant Americans are their main client target so you may get some annoying fellas on your trips ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We took the package with an open water cenote, cavern cenote followed by snorkeling in an ocean inlet. It had different things for different people in our group.
We had 2 group members that were quite frightened of the water. Our guide, Alex, even went above and beyond to make our group members feel comfortable in the water. Thanks Alejandro

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Warning, if you are considering this agency please don't. I'm not one for leaving negative reviews but unfortunately this may be the only way to help others not make the same mistake I did. I pre-booked a group of us to do the Tulum Excursion back in May. Everything was set until the day before when I texted the agency to confirm pick up time and details. It was at this time that they decided to tell me that due to COVID Tulum was closed and they were taking us somewhere else. I completely understood that the archeological site closing was out of their hands but they failed to tell our group ahead of time and it was only because I asked to clarify ahead of time that they mentioned they were not taking us there. Their plan was to pick us up and tell us then that they were taking us somewhere unplanned. I found out that the archeological site had actually been closed for quite some time so they could have told us way ahead of time. We did not want to do any other tours, our only interest was Tulum so when we found this out we decided to cancel. The agency agreed right away. They said they would reimburse me in a couple of business days. It's been over 2 months and I have not received my money back. Every time I contact them they simply reply "we're looking into it". So if you're looking into an excursion, do yourself a favor and find a different agency that is more professional than this one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing outdoor experience. I had so much fun with our tour guide Rafa. The cenotes were beautiful and so nice to swim in. We had a nice zip lining experience for a whole kilometer that stared after 140 step stairs. I will recommend that you use insect repellent to avoid getting bit by insects from walking through the trees.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My boyfriend and I did the zip lining, ATV, and cenote tour. We had so much fun. Joel was our tour guide and Jose was our driver. They were both so friendly, helpful, and nice. Would definitely recommend!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The over all experience was fun but there were a coyote if things that were very upsetting. You need to pay when you get there but before but they ask you to minimize what you take. So I just took a card. Once I get there they tell me that they don't take debit only credit. They do take Paypal but they had a weak wifi, they also have me the wrong total so. I had to go through the process again to pay the taxes. Then after all that hassle the went through the insurance, I just through all that hassle and now after that they throw out the insurance. I was so frustrated that I did not do it. They should bring that up at the beginning. The ARV's were fun, the "jungle" was just basic, then the Zipline which were way fun but the steps are steep and high. I was so exhausted after climbing 4 steep tall towers that I could not finish the rest. They just get higher and steeper, need to be in great shape to go all the way. Then we went in the Cenote. Beautiful.... I really enjoyed this experience. The only bad thing was some one freaking out. But this was not Aventuras Mayas fault. The transportation was very convenient to/from the hotel and the tour guide was amazing and very entertaining.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We did the ATV Xtreme Snorkel tour (ATV ride, 3 zip lines, snorkelling in a centre/cave, snorkelling in one inlet (at Laguna Yal-Ku).
Speed:
The tour was very rushed, more rushed than what I am used to when I go on tours.
There were no breaks in-between each activity. I would’ve appreciated 10 mins between each activity (30 mins total) as it was very needed!
People in the group had to go back to their lockers to drop something off, pick up their phone/GoPro, change into their swimsuits... so it was very difficult to stay “on time” because we had no time to even use the restrooms between each activity! How disappointing! A 10 minute break would’ve been the perfect buffer for people.
Lunch:
I also didn’t appreciate that lunch was directly after the zip-lines. We got off the zip line and were ushered into the lunch room. The adrenaline rush was SO high after zip lining, and I felt dizzy and unsettled when I went to get lunch. My hands were shaking and my heart rate was really high so I couldn’t eat a proper meal and ended up being hungry later. A 10 minute break after zip lining would’ve been perfect to bring our heart rates down and take some breaths before going to eat lunch. Or, lunch should’ve been served after our cenote experience as that’s when people were hungrier.
Lunch was also only 25 mins long, which is not a lot of time at all so we had to eat really fast (also not ideal after zip lining as there’s no “rest” time).
The lunch options are extremely limited too.
Hot food: chicken, shredded pork, sauce & rice.
Cold food: pasta salad bar.
For vegetarians, there’s only salad bar & rice.
ATV: The $15 collision damage is not needed. They made it seem as though we would get into a really bad accident and showed us photos of damaged ATV’s but the ride was so easy and everything looked exactly the same. Nobody crashed into each other, it’s just a quick way to make more money from tourists.
Zip Lining: So many stairs!!! They’re steep too. It’s hard walking up them, especially in the heat. I managed to get up 3 towers for the 3 ziplines but I would not have been able to do any more than that so I’m glad I only booked 3.
Also, as a plus-size woman, it’s very disappointing that they don’t have a single plus-size person zip lining on their social media accounts. There were SO many plus -size people at the park when I went, yet not a single plus-size person on their Instagram accounts. Prior to coming, I was so nervous about not fitting into a harness because I wasn’t able to see someone that looked like me zip-lining.
Cenote Cave: Our tour guide didn’t explain anything to us about the cave. We were ushered in, had to take posed photos and then we were in there for about 15 mins. When I walked out, the next group was waiting to go in and I heard their tour guide explaining information about the cave. It would’ve been great to hear about the cave and how it was formed.
Snorkelling in an inlet (Laguna Yal-Ku): we had a total of 25 minutes to snorkel and swim around. But we were told to stay in one area, so there wasn’t much to see. It’s a small area, and we weren’t allowed to swim further away where the bigger fish were.
Overall, disappointing and absolutely not worth $117 USD.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We did the ATV/zip line/cenote tour. It felt a bit rushed moving from one thing to the next, but I supposed most tours like that feel the same. Be prepared for a lot of stairs on the zip lines. I wish water was provided at every tower. I thought we were going to an open cenote, but ended up in a cave. It was beautiful, of course, and the cool water was welcome after the zip lines.
