Avis Renta de Autos - 77400 Cancún

I needed to rent a car at Secrets Playa Muerjes in Cancun (to go and see Joya near Playa del Carmen). While I could not find a car rental place near the hotel, I went to the Avis web site and it said there was a pick-up location at the hotel. When I got to the hotel, one of the first things I tried to do was locate the Avis kiosk.  There is none.  I contacted Avis and was told that they would bring the care to me at the hotel.  We confirmed the rental price and the required insurance. On the day of my pickup, I received a call confirming my pickup and was given instructions on where to meet the Avis representative (Josue M).  He was running a few minutes late, but called to let me know.  Josue went over the contract in detail with me and we inspected the car together.  He did a much more thorough job than I did inspecting it and documenting any damage.  Upon return, I needed to park the car overnight, and fortunately we had pre-paid parking with our reservation.  Between the hotel concierge and Josue, they let me know that when we got back late that night, the valet would park the car and I could just text Josue that I was done with the car.  He picked it up the following morning. While I have read several reviews that made me concerned about renting a car, Avis and Josue made this experience very pleasant.  I would certainly recommend them to anyone that asked.  And a huge thank you to Josue for your help with this rental (and sorry I am posting so late)
