We booked a car for 6 days. Later we moved to the beach and gave the car 3 days before back. They accept that we give the car earlier back without problems. Easy and good service via WhatsApp before booking.

Walked in and got a really cheap quote that included basic insurance. The car was brand new and had cold AC. The whole process was so easy and simple and went smoothly. No hidden fees, straight forward and we didn’t have to wait picking it up or dropping it off. Definitely the best rental car office experience I’ve had.

Charged me an additional fee, as an Avis Preferred member for dropping off car in Tulum rather than Cancun. My corporate code allows me to change drop-off location with no additional fee. This Avis Tulum location charged me a fee without considering my Avis Preferred status. Will not rent from them again.

Had a great experience for my week in Tulum. I chose to rent a large SUV style car because the roads are terrible there. They also have Jeeps and smaller cars for cheaper. The service was quick and easy. The car we gave was new and worked wonderfully. Would go back for my next visits.

A have a mixed impressions about Avis Tulum. Booked car here twice in two weeks. Once for 1 day and once for 2 days. Booking through official Avis Mx website. And adding a full coverage at their office. What was good: nice service. Not a long check in (15 mins for the first time and 10 for second). Cars were very clear and in really good condition (below 20k km on odometer). And a free upgrade for a higher class for 1 day rental. Security deposit was returned after 3 days What was disappointed: for 2 days rental I’ve got price almost 40% higher than for 2 separate days. So I could pay less money if I book 1+1 day. To sum up: pricey but a good quality service, and no hidden fees like all their rivals
