Dear Avis in Puerto Morelos Your location is wrong on Google maps. It shows your location in the Centro of PM. This is not the case as you are located a $150 peso cab ride outside of town. This is deceptive and an adds time and expense to your rental costs. Please work to correct this problem as quickly as possible. Thank you

Do not rent a car at Avis Puerto Morelos, when you do not stay at one of the Hotels/Resorts, Avis offers its service. As well as not at Station Puerto Morelos City. We had to learn this on the hard way. On the day we would pick up the car at the Dreams Jade Resorts Station (Offered on the Avis website), the security told us this is not possible. After a call with Avis they told us, they do not have “normal” stations at Puerto Morelos. They offered us to bring a car two hours later to our hotel or we could pick up the car at Cancun airport. Both options were unacceptable. We called the local Europcar Station instead. They were very helpful and organized us a car in 20 minutes!!! Now, I try to get a refund of the rental fee from Avis/Travel Agency. In short, if you plan to rent a car in Puerto Morelos, do this at your hotel or rent it from Europcar!
