Good price, good location, the problem is that there is no air conditioning and the rooms can feel suffocating, but very nice, clean and they offer free water in the corridors (NO ELEVATOR), people with disabilities it is difficult for them to Lodge.

I liked everything, it was an express trip. The place very close to the zócalo walking, the reception service in all its shifts very friendly (thank you for allowing my mom and I to check in earlier ?) Perhaps the only bad thing is that there is no elevator and there are 4 floors, so that you consider it if you go with older people and pay a little more attention to some preventive fumigation. From then on I recommend it if you go for a short time and are looking for something nearby.

Bad location, surrounded by street markets so inaccessible to and from Uber. Uncomfortable beds and no restaurants in area. I visited Mexico City again and stayed at a number of hotels to check them out. Here’s a review of the last four for WORST to BEST. The worst is the Hotel Isabel, probably because they have forgotten that they are in the hospitality business and try to extract as much money as they can for the least. Second worst is the Hotel Continental Mexicano as it is in a terrible location, isn’t near restaurants, is very difficult to get to as it’s surrounded by street merchants and lousy bed because they use a plastic sheet between the mattress and you, so you sweat into it! Uber did not pickup or drop off at the hotel because of the street vendors! The second best, is the modest Hotel Roble. Small rooms, hot showers and in a good location. The best hotel was the Hotel Castropol. It’s clean, modern, has large rooms, comfortable beds and near lot's of restaurant. You can’t go wrong with the Castropol, you go very wrong with the Isabel.

You get what you pay for. If your looking to save money and aren't worried too much on the accommodations then this is the place to go. It's in a very sketchy part of Mexico city . I will probably bit stop here again .

I loved this place! Great for the budget traveller. Yes it's in a more commercial area of the city (lots of cheap clothes shops etc.), but it's close to the city center and the staff are very nice and helpful. Can't go wrong for the price I think.

You're paying for the location and not the service or quality of the hotel. They originally put me in the top floor in Room 406 it was literally under a massive generator which would turn on and off. There is no way sleeping if you are in that room. I went down to complain and the man looked at me and gave me ear plugs. I told him I had my own and it wasn't working. He then offered me room 407 next door. Which would still be hearing the noise. After back and forth they put me in a room on the 2nd floor. They do not let you know about the generator on top of room 406/407 and found that dishonest. They just assume you have to deal with it. Plus no cancellation rule so you are out of luck. The cleaning people start really early and blast their music on speaker so be ready to be up at dawn. They have no sense that people are still sleeping. There are also some guests who take their phone calls in the hallway which is annoying. You can't close the windows because it's a small room and gets hott. I recommend including fan system. Again you are paying for the location. Close to centro. If you are the type of traveller who is out and about always and just needs a place to crash then this is place for you. Its cheap. Scary location at night but not bad. Wouldn't recommend for single women travellers. BUT WHATEVER YOU DO ASK FOR THE ROOM # IN ADVANCE. DO NOT GET ROOM 406/407

The people at the hotel where really nice and it was a great service. Everything was clean. They were just renovating a part of the hotel and the rest was newly renovated. It wasn't in the best area of CDMX but only a 10 minute walk away from the center.

I couldn’t be more happy with this place! The location is great, loved the easy and clean walk to national palace, national cathedral, etc. Price is unbelievably good. I was not expecting much based on what I paid. But it’s exactly as clean and welcoming as the photos. Daily room service is impeccable. Sure it’s a budget place, so don’t expect a huge space, plush bed and perfectly sound-insulated room. Quiet neighborhood at night. Once again pleasantly surprised at how good this is.
