My wife and I rented apartment 4 for a week stay in Puerto Morelos, Mexico. We arrived to find a big puddle of water in the bedroom and water along the wall in the hallway. Too late to move, so I resorted to wet feet leaving the bedroom that night. The manager responded quickly the next day, while we waited an hour for the coffee maker to finally brew the pot, and offered to let us move to unit 6, but we decided to wait and see because the probable cause of the flooding was due to heavy rain that day. The following day the unit flooded again during rain and I noted that the water was also running down the wall in places. I went up stairs to unit 6 and found it also had water puddling by the bedroom. Good thing we hadn't moved into it and then have to go through the aggravation of moving 2 times! We were finally moved into unit 7. Besides all that, many of the drawers we came across are no longer on the tracks or bind when opening. There's no curtain on unit 7 kitchen window despite a large industrial building next door with clear view into the unit. And it doesn't appear that the hot water is plumbed to any sinks in this unit. And to top it all off, good customer service would at least offer a discount on the stay for all the aggravation but my request for a price adjustment by the owner was flat out denied. I should note that the manager was very helpful and tried her best to make the best of the situation.
