B&B Teocalli Hotel-Galeria - 70420 Teotitlán del Valle

El hotel está bonito, las habitaciones son sencillas y camas duras. El encargado es una persona que te hará pasar un mal momento, nada profesional, les dio un cuarto a otros huéspedes que era nuestro, nos desconectó el internet y le gritó a mis familiares. La verdad no recomiendo este lugar, es un servicio pésimo y todo lo que te ofrecen es a medias, debes de tener en cuenta que vas a tener que lidiar con el encargado del lugar que se la pasa dormido todo el día. Se meten a tu cuarto sin previo aviso y mueven tus cosas dentro del cuarto. Debido a los precios accesibles podría ser un buen lugar pero booking y el encargado son lo peor, está a 45 minutos del centro de oaxaca y NO HAY SEÑAL, el wi fi es muy pobre y no podrías ni entrar a whatsapp para avisar que estás vivo. No nos respetaron nuestra reservación, tratándose de un puente vacacional, no encontramos un lugar a las 12 de la noche y tuvimos que regresarnos a nuestra ciudad, esto es solo una pauta para que decidan si se quedarán ahí. Habitaciones muy limpias y confortables, el personal de servicio muy atento, ubicación sobre la calle principal, cómo adicional tienen despachador automático de agua caliente y fría, algo que muy pocos hoteles ofrecen.

Hidden gem away from busy noisy oaxaca à city and close to the valleys attraction. Need a car to make it worthwhile. Easy parking around.

Typical small comfortable place, that has nice rooms and a nice breakfast in a small garden with singing house finches. At night the dogs can be annoying, but it’s Mexico. If you like lazy places in lazy little towns, go for it.

Hotel is conveniently located. The host Alejandro overextended his services at times - which we appreciated. Him and his wife have excellent recommendations of places to visit and attractions that you must see while in Oaxaca. They were kind to let us use their refrigerator to freeze some food. One night Alejandro joined us for some coffee and we were able to discuss some of the most common traditions to its town. The room we stayed in incorporates the weavers work throughtout the room (rugs, bedding, pillow cases, curtains to name a few). The town itself is very safe and the Mercado offers such a unique experience with the locals and great food.

Our stay at B & B Teocalli was a great experience overall. The owners were super friendly and were there throughout the day if we had any questions. On our last day while we were waiting for our car ride to arrive at the hotel to head to the airport around 5am, one of the owners must have heard us heading out and was kind enough to allow us to wait in the reception/store area so we wouldn’t have to be out in the cold. Very nice and attentive staff!

Super hospitable, looks amazing, beds are. Comfy and bathroom is clean. The central area is beautiful and obviously well maintained. Only a ten minute walk to the central market and it feels like such a chill atmosphere in this town.
