Beautiful place to go to see turtles. Despite the sargassum, you can go for a walk and see many fish along the way. Very beautiful!!

Good thing they protect the turtles ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect place for snorkeling - crystal clear water with corrals. It's empty, almost without people, because most of them belongs to private villas and apartments. For public are two entrances, one path behind statue of founder Akumal village, second on the end of road after crossroad to cenote. Public part of beach is rocky, without sand, without shadow, but it worth to visit for sea, for enjoy of beautiful sea life, not for beach itself.
