Bahía del Sol Beach Resort - 63732 Nuevo Vallarta

We were very happy to stay at Bahia Del Sol. Xochikt and her crew are amazing. Everyone from front desk to the grounds people were so kind, always smiling, and eager to please. The room was awesome. Room D9 is renovated with marble. It is a one bedroom with 2 fantastic marble huge bathrooms, such a bonus. There are two trundle beds in the living room. The kitchen is big with many cupboards and things needed to cook etc. Big double door fridge...amazing. Rita our cleaning lady was wonderful and kept the place top notch clean. The large bedroom with tons of built in closets and dresser was huge and clean. The king size bed was comfy, with soft sheets. The mattress was medium, as far as soft or hard. But of course everyone has a different need for a mattress. We love that we didn't need the air conditioning, which is remotely operated (cool), but we had a front bedroom window and the ocean slider at the other end in the living room and the cross breeze all day long was just beautiful. The furniture is great!. Last but not least a huge balcony with table and chairs and the most spectacular view of the well maintained grounds, huge clean heated pool, and the huge stunning walking beach. The sunsets from this room are crazy beautiful. See our pics Room for improvements, as there always is that. More lounge chairs, more little tables, and more umbrellas The umbrellas are too small and the base not big enough so they blow over in the afternoon wind. One fell on my husband but no damage. I would suggest for safety bigger and stronger. They also had to be held open with nails we couldn't open or close them on our own. This is a very small problem but this is suggestion for improvement. But all in all, the most amazing place and we will be back in room D-9 next year for sure. This is a very nice place to stay if you want to be out of the hustle and bustle of big hotels. The rooms are well done with big beds, nice little kitchens. The pool area is very pleasant and relaxing. The grounds are immaculate. The beach is well maintained and cared for each day. I looked forward to coming home to this relaxing place each day we were in Puerto Vallarta and surrounding areas. The Riviera Grill across the street is a wonderful and relaxing place to eat breakfast lunch or dinner.

The location is fantastic. You can be on the beach in a matter if minutes. The building is older but not in bad shape. You can watch the sunset the from the patio.The staff are friendly and the food at the resturant is delicious. They do not serve breakfast. Book any excurtsions from Augustine, he is great.

It's an excellent hotel for the price, when it's not raining. Our room flooded overnight during a rainstorm, so we can't recommend this place when it rains.

In Neuvo Vallarta, The Turtle Conservatory Association released Newly hatched baby turtles at dusk tonight.

Not sure about the resort itself, but walking by on the beach they have a massage hut right on the sand! Only $35 foe an hour massage. Great routine, touch, and aroma therapy with your massage too! I had Julie who has magical hands and was trained well. My wife said hers was fabulous as well. Gotta check this place out. Plus you have the Beach sounds and waves in thw background. Nothing better than a massage right on the sand at the beach!!!

Clean. The administrator, Xochi, is very good and speaks good English! You will enjoy the beautiful grounds and the great beach.

We have been coming there every October for the last six years and although the rooms are not five star like an all inclusive, the location and the amenities make it way better than the swanky, all inclusive hotels. The pool is within steps of your room, the beach is within steps of the pool, so you’re not having to walk for 10 minutes to go from your room to the pool or the beach. The beach is fantastic with very few people there. Then there is a restaurant right on the premise where the servers come throughout the day to see if you would like drinks or very expensive Mexican and Italian food. Then, the other phenomenal experience is there massage hut, that’s right on the beach where you get amazing massages for $35 an hour. between the proximity of your room to the pool and the beach, the restaurant being right there, and the massage hut where you are getting massages on the beach with the ocean crashing in your ear, you can’t ask for a more amazing experience. Overall, the room may not be the high-end room that you may enjoy on a regular vacation, but all the other amenities that come along with this hotel, you cannot beat it. Plus everyone that works there is so kind and accommodating! Our friends beg us to invite them every year to join us!
