Very calm waves, very good for the family. We accessed this beach by hiring a boat tour. The captain took us to several bays in the area. This was our favorite place to swim with our kids. However, the restaurants are very pricey. Usually, the tour boats have deals with the restaurant, so you don’t have freedom of choice to choose the restaurant.

One of our favorite beaches/bay in Huatulco. Snorkeling is good with snorkeling on each side of the bay. One side of the bay has more waves other side is calm. Lots of restaurants to choose from. The beach is clean, bathrooms are clean for 5 peso to use. Has steps and ramp to get up and down to the beach. (I seen people with cane and they did ok). If you have a serious problem with walking this might be difficult for you. Great place to spend the day.

Small beach with lots of restaurants to choose to lounge in front of with a cerveza or two. Waves can be a bit hard until you get to the dropoff. Lots of vendors but they aren't too aggressive, unlike the restaurant workers who bug you as soon as you exit your taxi to come to their restaurant. Just go down the beach stairs (public bathrooms will be at the bottom on your right for 5 pesos-more if you want to shower) and out to the beach to decide where you want to sit. Most have loungers and umbrellas for free if you order drinks or food in front of their restaurant. We stayed in front of the first one to the right of the stairs (facing the ocean) called El Compeno's. It was fine, a bit lacking in beer variety (menu had lots but in actuality they were out of everything except 3 types the day we went). Didn't try the food but heard from someone it was good. Boat charters came and went, we don't fish but were asked so assume you can just show up and look for someone to take you out. Kids' inflatables and pails/shovels for sale on the beach too. Not much space from one end to the other for walking, but sand isn't too coarse so it is an easy stroll. There are steep stairs and ramp down to the beach but it would be difficult for someone in a wheelchair or mobility issues. However, I'm guessing some restaurant workers might devise a safe way down for you if you needed help or manpower to get down and back up.

Went to this beach during the 2021 Holidays. The beach was clean, the water was clear, it was a bit crowded, but the beach was relatively big for everyone there to swim in, it was safe for the kids because the waves were small. It was very relaxing. There were a lot of restaurants near the beach, you need to consume stuff from them if you want to sit at the tables, mi kids loved that they had hammocks there.
