As a first timer I had no idea about... anything. There's not enough information on the website to know what to do in any case. However, the staff was well trained and super helpful. I wish they had WiFi service for the price one has to pay for a room. It gets very warm inside as there is, basically, no A/C on the common areas. I paid a room with a window, but I couldn't see a thing because it was dirty. Included food was OK, although my friend got sick from eating the chicken.

We had a seamless experience. Booked ahead, and got a cabin. We drove a vehicle over from the mainland to baja. We got there around 1 to weigh in and get our boarding passes. My wife had to enter with the passengers and I drove the vehicle aboard. Boarding began around 2pm. The food was phenomenal to be honest. Carne or marlin with rice, beans, and tortillas. Desert and drink included. They had live entertainment. The cabin was spacious and clean as was the private bathroom. Drinks were cheap but strong, if you tip well. We even arrived hours earlier than expected. Plan ahead and enjoy yourself.

Ferry from La Paz to Mazatlan was enjoyable. There was some confusion but that's probably just user error on my part (I don't speak the best spanish). Watching the sailors launch the boat and then dock the next morning was very entertaining. Dinner was fine, there was no milk for coffee in the morning so I didn't have any. There are two bars and karaoke at night which is fun with people who have been drinking all night.

Most incompetent and unprofessional ferry company I have come across in 40 years of travels. We booked a trip with a double cabin from Topolobampo to Pichilingue 3 weeks in advance. Two days before departure my bank informs me I got a refund from Baja Ferries as they cancelled the reservation. I wrote to them, called them, WhatsApped them. No reply, no explanation not even a notification they have cancelled the reservation, fortunately my bank told me!!!! Terrible management and non-existent customer service or respect for that matter. Save money and time and avoid Baja Ferries at all cost. You can fly Los Mochis yo La Paz for less than 100 USD and in 45 min.

35 Pecos per person for a round trip ride seems a little high for the short ride. They are helpful if you have bags or need a hand getting on or off. Little to no English is spoken by the boat operator.

It will cost you around $600usd both ways, with a 4 bed cabin and a vehicle. I suggest that you do take the cabin, or you will be tired. There is a bar and you get two free meals and drinks. They do have simple shows/dj. On the way to La Paz ferry leaves around 4pm so you slerp the night. Arrive latest 1:30pm if you need to do the paperwork. Weigh vehicle and get boarding pass.
