Cuenta la historia que, en los años veinte, había un pintoresco personaje que vivía en la Roma, famoso por sus bromas. Fiestero, ligador, multimillonario y compadre de Porfirio Díaz, se hacía llamar Carlos Balmori y aprovechaba su fama de magnate para hacer travesuras que mostraban hasta dónde podía llegar la avaricia de la socialité mexicana. Después de hacer sus bromas, que se conocían como Balmoreadas, el hombre se quitaba el sombrero y el bigote falso y mostraba su verdadera identidad: una simpática mujer de más de 60 años llamada Concepción Jurado. De ese espíritu bromista y desenfadado es que nace Balmori, un lugar a donde puedes venir a relajarte y pasar un buen rato.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My partner and I came in for dinner and were not even acknowledged after the host sat us at a table in the back of the restaurant. We waited for over 25 minutes and were not even brought water. Once no one came over to help us, we decided to just leave and go to another restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In my opinion this restaurant matches, if not exceeds, the rest of the quality restaurants in the neighborhood. The place so many good things going for it. First, the place looks great and the ambiance is fantastic. The music selection is good, pretty groovy and the volume is just right. The stars of the show are the food and drinks. O ordered a Mezcal drink with Jamaica. The drink came on this really cool mug and tasted great. I ordered the superfoods encrusted salmon as a main dish. This dish was phenomenal. I have never ate salmon like this before and I would highly recommend it to anyone who visits this place. I felt the need to ask the server to thank the chef for making that dish for me which I have never done in my life. Last but not least, the staff is friendly, attentive and very professional.

Chill Ambience, good music, great sound.
Perfect to go with friends or with your couple
We seated at the bar. We had a gin (Gin Mare) tonic with red fruits and a carajillo coffee (coffee with 64 liquour). Very good both but I personally recommend the gin.
You can have food as well. We didn't try but it seems to be good.
You should reserve a place since the place is not too big and it gets full very easily
We found a place because it was early in the evening and we accepted to seat at the bar.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a good place to have some drinks with your friends. In the place there's a dj so it's a cool vibe the only thing is that you have to speak a little bit loud in your table. They have lot of options in drinks it's a good roofbar.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They are kind and very efficient, but social distancing is not a priority, it gets crowded and they haven't reduce the amount of sitting spaces to comply with COVID restrictions. The hostess has a weird fake accent, she can talk normally and still be very nice, accent does not surprise people, service quality and health regulations compliance does.
Food was good, but when asked for a medium rare, they give you something different for each plate, you can almost tell where in the pan/how close to the heat source they were located... order 1:one half well done, the other medium rare; order 2: a slight bit(10%) medium rare, the rest bleeding like it was raw.
Some staff member sneeze the whole time, they should've send them home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited three times over16 days in CDMX - mainly because our kids (in their 20s) loved it. I liked it too. They have a great selection of cocktails, small dishes and main courses. We were there during the dinner hour - the music was chill lounge. Cool but not overwhelming. Servers were very professional. friendly and efficient.
