Balneario La Toma - 46400 Tequila

Nice place

In my youth I would visit this place everytime we traveled to Tequila to visit family. Its always been a favorite and has great views. The original swimming location is still alive but you are not allowed to climb the waterfall. Child friendly and like most places around this area if you got soda best expect bees. In recent years as more and more tourists visit Tequila this place gets pretty crowded. It's pretty full especially when you come on popular days

Great place to have fun. Bring enough food and drink for your stay. 4 of 5 because the parking here is bad. Make sure you get in early, doors open at 7 am for a good spot.

Natural waters makes for amazing pictures, your not allowed speakers or glass items. Cost is usually $140 pesos per entrance, bumpy road to get to destination but worth it ! They do have free showers

ITS A NICE PLACE BUT READ WHY I ONLY GAVE IT 3 STARS. Its a good place in which you can take a swim in its 6 or 7 different pools, personally I expected something else more from this place ill explain why.... Well it isn't too difficult to get here its outside the tequila town and you have to drive down on a canyon. The price to get in here is actually cheap; 60 pesos for adults and children. The landscape in the place is so beautiful, canyons have always been like that. There are too many tables in which you can seat with your family and enjoy your food o whatever you want, this place doesn't have a restaurant so you have to bring your own food so be prepared they only have a litle convenience store but they have this things to make meat with fire haha, hope you know what I'm talking about. The first pools are okay because they look clean but there's not to much space around them so you have to eat in one place and then go to the pool if you have to take care of kids this is a kind of problem but its okay... The other pools down the place are a little small but they are okay to have fun with your family, because thats what this place is made for: familys. There's a pool at the end of the place and there's a waterfall in it, it's not that big but if you like nature then you'll like it. There's no people around like waiters you have to do the job for yourself. And finally the water is not hot, so I recommend to come here when its sunny. Hope you like the place if you visit it. This place is spectacular, fresh water cascading into the pools. The views, the gardens everthing for everyone.
