Those bathrooms have been around since my 74-year-old mom was a little girl. We used to go to the temazcal when I was 7 years old or less, only women bathe in a huge communal room where there is a suffocating steam cave at the back, sometimes huge cockroaches came out. Now I know that I wouldn't go to that room for nothing, but I recognize that for those who use it who have few resources, it is a good place to cleanse in depth, however there are other bathrooms, individual, steam, and others with tubs, now I go with my chlorine to the steam cleaners, they call it Russian, we wash the floor as best we can, although there is always a man who does it as soon as the client leaves the bathroom, and we enjoy the steam in a small room measuring 2 meters by 2 meters more or less, sitting on a cement bench. Everything is very archaic, the tube from which the steam comes out is very old, it is only bent so that it comes out under pressure, the showers also have the same tubes from years and years, but it works. If they are old and lack maintenance, the doors do not close well but they close, everything halfway but it works, they only let you stay an hour or less if there is a queue, when we have gone we have stayed up to 2 hours that they have a great time especially if we have the bathroom that has a shower from which you only pull a lever and cold water comes out. That is the best. The toilets are terrible if you happen to go to the bathroom before or after the steam. I have affection for him because he has existed for generations. And I adapt to everything with precautions and make the best of what I can. I recommend them if you want a good bath with steam and you're not fifi hahaha.
