Beautiful property, and experience! The spa was amazing, best massage I've ever had. The atmosphere was very serene and relaxing. I would go back. It's also kid friendly.

My husband and I were part of a company group and were constantly amazed by just how prestine the villas and resort areas were and how accommodating everyone was. Benedicto and Arturo at Saffron restaurant (our favorite dining experience!) were very friendly and helped make those dining experiences memorable. Karen Rocha, the manager at Saffron, personally led us to a private lounge area and brought us drinks and chatted with us for a while, she was so nice. Our eco-tour pilot, Jesus, clearly loved his job. He was so knowledgeable about the wildlife and we gladly waited for him to retrieve his cell phone after the tour ended so he could show us photos of some wildlife we weren't able to see in person. Such an unforgettable time! We also had the opportunity to speak with Abel, the head of food & beverage, and he was also very friendly and accommodating. We would love to return there one day.

One of the best places I've stayed. I loved the food, service, grounds, rooms. I highly recommend. Bring your own soap and shampoo though. I don't think their's works. I was there for a wedding, so I saw most of the room types by being in other guests rooms. I much preferred the one bedroom with a living room layout to any of the others. The three bedrooms are three levels to get to the rooftop pool and being on the roof isn't as nice as being ground level and being to see all of nature around you as you swim.

An absolutely incredible property. The villas are spectacular, the property is beautiful, good food and lots of sunshine. The prices are definitely are on the higher side, but at no point do you feel like you are overpaying. They definitely make the money seem worthwhile.

Beautiful hotel on Mexico. The proper was perfectly maintained. The food at the restaurants were all outstanding with no complaints. Check in was quick and easy as well. The room was massive and one of the nicest rooms stayed in. I would recommend this property to anyone. It’s peaceful and a perfect getaway.

Everything is excellent here. Feels very safe, the service is absolutely top notch, and the food throughout is also very very good. The pools in the room were great, and when we landed they had set up a special late lunch per our request outside the suite. I highly recommend being adventurous on the bike trails and exploring a bit.

For the price I wanted more. Is very beautiful but also limited. Very nice intricate waterways but only 2 kayaks for 3000 rooms. Make a reservation the day before, maybe but still seems like it's a little like we have all these potential activities but it's not really possible to do them all. The villa we had was 3 floors but I don't want to walk down steps late at night to go to sleep. Felt like sleeping in a basement. The other major warning is that they offer very extensive kosher dining and cater to those who need it. All that is great but, I'm from NY and there's something to be said about getting away from all that and just being on vacation. For those looking for that it's great. This is not a quiet getaway. It's a giant little jungle network of multiple hotels across a huge property. Bicycles are provided, golf carts will pick you up but just too much for me.

This is a very well managed property. We had a beachfront villa but no waves or sound of them or even the option to walk in the water because of the sea weeds which is a known perennial problem in the area. The amazing pool and other areas are awesome so it covers up for the lack of clean beaches. Great staff in the pool and restaurants and they may not speak fluent English but they are all inclined to help and we experienced it first hand. If I had an option to rate the resort and spa separately then resort would be 4 and the spa would be a 2 star. Their spa experience was average for me and horrendous for my hubby. So disastrous for the kind of money they charge. We both love massages n have traveled and experienced massages in many spas but this was the most disappointing one. From the way the spa room is and the whole experience. They make you fill a lot of paper forms but no one reads it so my requests were not heeded to. The spa manager is very pushy and will sell more services and I feel the staff is overworked and end of the we experienced bad massages. I was told this is a world class spa and I would say I beg to differ. I have seen and experienced much better spas that too without paying so much. The resort is 4 star because of the food at saffron. We read another review earlier on trip advisor that the food was cold but we ignored it. We were actually served cold appetizers and the server had no answer when I asked why so. He said at saffron they serve appetizers cold which was a weird thing to hear. We ordered shrimp wrapped in noodles n deep fried and seared salmon. The fried rice was made for my liking but it was served warm. My guess is their kitchen is far or the food pick up has issues. The location of the restaurant was beautiful. However the sands beach grill restaurant was outstanding. Overall the rooms n housekeeping - were exceptional. It is the highlight.
