★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent Taiwanese food, traditional dishes and Mexican-Taiwanese fusion! I lived in Taiwan and I got hooked up with its cuisine ever since, so I feel qualified to give Bao Bao a five star rating! The service is stunning and I had an organic Mexican red wine with my beef noodle soup that was superb. Go, people, and indulge!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fusion food gone wrong. Dan Dan noodles were in a very thick peanut sauce. Kimchi dumplings have a very sour taste (not the good fermented kind) and the dough is quite dense. Service was poor - not sure how the staff is structured, but our waiter seemed to be serving mostly all tables and two guys just stood at the door. Nice to be able to bring dogs, but won’t return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great service and great food. One of our favorite places in CDMX. A number of tasty vegetarian options if you’re looking for a break from Mexican food while out here. Really recommend the Mapo Tofu over rice. The vegetarian bao are also delicious. We literally came here about 3 times over the few weeks we were here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sooooo so glad my friend insisted on coming here. The food was a nice delicious hug after a long day and we had great genuine interactions with the staff. As an added bonus it is women owned and run! I cannot wait to come back to this gem!

This is probably the most authentic Taiwanese restaurant you will find in Mexico even better then places you’d find in NYC or Cali.. Very surprising to come across in Mexico City. Every dish bring out the nostalgic flavors of my country and childhood. I am sure they have bad dishes but didn’t come across any when I was there
