Perfect place to enjoy a meal, an afternoon or an evening! Great menu and food, friendly staff and a cool tropical vibe with the beach out front and a fun jungle vibe by the bar. Look for the Mexican flag flying out front..it is a gem of a spot!

AMAZING FOOD! Walking down the beach we stopped to have dinner and not only is the beach location bomb, but the food was incredible. As a pescatarian there was so much available for us to order on the menu. We loved the sangria, shrimp quesadilla, and mixed shrimp and fish ceviche was so good. We will definitely eat here multiple times!! Plus the swings at the bar are a added bit of whimsy.

I dont often leave reviews but after my terrible service and experience, felt I had to. Came here and was surprised and happy(!) to hear it was 2 x 1 happy hour. As I was travelling solo, I asked if it was okay if i just got one now and the other later. Was told yes - that was not a problem. A little while later I ordered the second and the waiter said he would be right back. 45 minutes later - no second drink. I was completely ignored even though my server went to every single table surrounding me - I had to go up to the bar to even get my bill. Was charged full price for my one drink despite not even getting the second one for happy hour. Not sure if this is a way to try to take advantage of generous tourists but I felt completely disrespected. Other tourists around me expressed the same feelings of being ignored while watching the locals get catered to. Vast difference - went down the beach and went somewhere where I was never left waiting and ignored and was given amazing service.

If you want good food, good drinks, and a break from all the beach vendors, La Isla is the place, and close out your evening with a beautiful Sunset!! !!!

The food is yummy! You can not beat the view. They do not allow soliciting in the dining area. The prices are fabuloso as is the wait staff.

The worst service ever!! We waited over 20 minutes before anyone attended us. The waiter finally came to our table, only because I got up and approached a waitress. The waiter came and took our drink order. We waited yet another 15 minutes for 2 cocktails. It wasn't even busy! My mojito had what appeared to be a handful of mint ... tasted like it, too. Hardly any alcohol. I asked for a straw .. 20 minutes later, no straw. I took a straw from the next table over to us. I asked for a glass of ice, he brought my ice after I had finished my cocktail. An hour later waiter finally took our dinner order. The Appetizers were okay. Dinner was terrible. My Mahi-Mahi was way too salty! Will never eat here again!

Awesome place for drinks. My wife really wanted to sit on the swings and drink margaritas so that is what we did…uncomfortably. The guacamole we shared was tasty but we felt the drinks were a little watered down (minus 1 star).
