No sé en qué consista realmente pero no me cae tan pesada como cualquier otra barbacoa. Las opciones de salsa son buenas; la típica salsa de Chile verde en aceite, la salsa verde que no pica con cebolla, y la estilo tlaquepaque que pica un poco más que la primera. Si estás de visita en Monterrey y quieres probar una buena barbacoa, está es la indicada. Además pueden llegar de paso a la basílica. So far I have not tried another barbecue that I like more than "the parakeet". I do not know what it really consists of but it does not weigh me down as heavy as any other barbecue. The sauce options are good; the typical green chile sauce in oil, the green sauce that does not spice up with onion, and the tlaquepaque style that spits a little more than the first. If you are visiting Monterrey and want to try a good barbecue, this is the one. They can also get to the basilica on the way.

En Domingo busquen llegar a la cuadra subiendo por calle Querétaro porque se pone un mercado 1 cuadra antes de la barbacha que impide circular por la calle del negocio. Sería mi observación. Muy amable el dueño Pedro hijo "Perico" y su esposa. Es pura carnita sin gorditos, ideal para la familia y niños. Pero con su grasa y sabor. 1a vez que la pruebo y si la recomiendo. Ricas las tortillas. Sólo hace falta que incluyan limón para ser perfecto. Precio entre medio a alto. Hay un carrito de los mismos de barbacoa de perico sobre Río Nazas casi llegando a Lázaro Cárdenas, los domingos en la mañana y se les termina bien temprano. Excellent beef cheek barbecue. Not too greasy, not dry. At your point. Good green sauces. I didn't like the Tlaquepaque style. The tortillas are delicious. They just need to include lemon to be perfect. Medium to high price.
