★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It looked and was so delicious that I completely forgot taking pictures! It's a small friendly family owned place. It was clean and they have precautions in place regarding the Covid19 and offer sitting tables at the moment. I ordered tacos, their specialty is barbacoa, slow cooked beef and lamb and as I said delicious. They give free consomé, a soup made from the lamb meat cooking process when you order 5 or more tacos. Also they have the best mixiote I tasted in the region which is spicy lamb meat. But to me the best was the beef barbacoa made from the ribs, in the south beef barbacoa is made with a sort of spicy sauce, I'm from the north where barbacoa is just the beef cooked with little aromatic leafs and this place has it this way! And for that I thank the Gods and the owner!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pros: Good seasoning & flavor, fresh food & tortillas.
Cons: Poor customer service, big old faces seen, sodas only, no ice available, soups come with meat but they've chunks of fat that take about the third of the meat portion, one should get the biggest plate in order to have a decent portion of food, water to wash hands should be a better option than only gel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the 3 tacos and consome 70 pesos. Inexpensive and tasty. We put the Taco meat into the soup & that worked really well.
A hole in the wall hidden gem. We'll be back.
Fyi, the waitress doesn't speak any English.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thanks to our wonderful Amstar driver, Espin, got to find this great place on the side of the road. The barbacoa was about the best I have ever had. Perfect authentic first stop after coming right off the plane.
