My barber hasn't spoken a word of English but we were able to understand each other via universal terms like "undercut", "fade", "0" to "2" and so on :)
The haircut turned out perfect. Practically the same one as you get for $50 in Brooklyn and it cost me $20 with tip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took a haircut + beard package. The guy that was taking care of me did not speak english but we managed to communicate somehow. He did a good job on the sides and back of the head with the electrict trimmer but he was not good with scissors. He barely did something with the top of my head. Regarding the beard, despite all the hassle with hot towel ritual he did only contouring. No trimming at all despite the fact that I asked for it. I think they could do better for the money they charge.

On my business trip from San Diego California to Mexico city i needed a haircut and beard trim. I was really impressed with Armando my barber by luck as i was assigned him to be my barber. I highly recommend this place!
I read a couple of bad reviews but are totally misleading. This is an old school barber shop were you get hot towels on your face, beard wash, and hair wash with your service. I definitely recommend and will be back when i come back to CDMX.
