The Gym is huge and awesome. Great if you like to get some exercise in on vacation. The beach and ocean is amazing. Very little seaweed and a great temperature. Beach Volleyball was great. The property is very well maintained and clean. Housekeeping, room service and the bell boy were all very friendly. The front desk however was not very friendly. The food was bad and the buffet especially. My wife and I still have very bad Diarrhea 2 days after returning from our trip. I am actually writing this review while on the toilet. The diarrhea haas been for 5 days. If the food was better and we didn't get diarrhea we would return, but we won't take that chance again.

This is a beautifully manicured resort. Everything about the grounds staff and food are excellent. This is a fantastic all inclusive resort that I would highly recommend. Ivan, who waited on us in the buffet most days was engaging and fun. He was always cheerful and obliging. Great guy!! This helped us think this resort is almost perfect. This was our second visit, the first being 9 years ago. The room was similar and could do with a refurbish, but towels and bed linen were clean and the room a good size. The resort boasts the best hotel gym I’ve ever been to and has a good spa next to it. The resort was noticeably busier than our first visit. The hotel is definitely more popular and has a huge fan base who return time and time again. I loved returning and going snorkelling off the dock and seeing all the fish there. There are a la carts restaurants and we had no trouble booking. They were mostly good, though we found the food at the Spanish restaurant a bit bland. Everyone complains online about people reserving sun-beds. We had no issues and despite the hotel being busy, there were often empty beds all day. The pools are enormous. It’s only fair to say a couple negative things. The corridors echo tremendously and if you are asleep in bed you hear everything outside when people come in late or wheel their cases in or out. Rooms aren’t sound proofed either. We could clearly hear people talking and using the toilet next door. We were woken a couple of times by people having parties and playing loud music. The sleeping areas should be quiet zones after a certain time. There were beach parties that went on well into the night too. I would expect the premium rooms would have heard this. We had wanted to pay to upgrade to adults only on arriving, but were told no rooms were available. Even the receptionist didn’t believe what they were telling us. We were told a note would be put on our room and they would let us know if one became available. They didn’t. We later heard some guest arriving after us were given free upgrades to AO. There were occasions when guests let their children run riot. In the buffet on more than one occasion children were taking enormous amounts of food sometimes using their fingers, eating it as they went back to their tables but then leaving food uneaten. All of this unsupervised. When we went to the Santa Fe steak house, we were having a quiet meal, when a large group arrived who literally shouted and made noise. I have no issue with anyone having fun, but there was no consideration for other guests. These are niggles but can spoil some peoples holidays. I am sure when I was here 9 years ago dinner at the buffet was more formal. I think this standard has dropped and some people used it like a free for all fast food restaurant. The hotel should review this.

Marià Mayo and Lisbeth are amazing at the restaurant la Fuentes, they were truly exceptional. They were attentive, and considerate during our meal. This was the best service, best food in the whole resort. We had an amazing experience at this Spanish restaurant. Would totally recommend!

One of the best resort experiences I’ve had all included food and alcohol, everything including rooms is kept up with very nicely and the workers are here to help with anything. Especially the very cool ladies at Strikers Bowling Evelin, and Priscilla they were super nice and helpful with showing us around and explaing their prices there. Overall I would highly recommend this resort the only thing I would be careful with is picking when to come down because during spring break and Christmas it can be a little crowded.

Beautiful resort! Amazing staff, great security, lovely views. We owe Javier Reyes a special thank you for setting us up with a dinner at Monte fuego in town. It was one of the best nights of our lives and we very much appreciate Senor Reyes recommendation. Also my daughter and I loved the lizards :) another shout out to the grounds keeping crew, the foliage was absolutely gorgeous and manicured beautifully.

First time in Mexico, to begin with the people at the front desk were really nice. The resort itself is gorgeous, the beach is clean and the water is both too deep so perfect for someone like me who's not swimmer. Rooms were clean, the food is good but the drinks are not too strong so you'll need to drink a lot if you're trying to get drunk lol. At the buffet my favorite part was working with Ivan Uh! He's the nicest, kindest, and will take great care of you during your breakfast and lunch hours. I'll definitely come back and hopefully Ivan is still here.❤

Resort is deigned very well. 6 separate resorts share a whole bay on the Caribbean. 2-3miles of beach, together with multiple buffets, theaters, own dolphin show, mini golf, own mall and Mexican market will keep you busy and entertained. So resort on its own gets 5starts. Second is quality - 3 stars. AC did not work, so it was pretty hot in the room, preventing us from getting a good sleep. Check in was late. Out of 6 days room was cleaned 4 days - thanks to my wife, who was chasing them on the floor to clean it. Lines on bars were ridiculously long - sometimes we had to wait 30minutes to get a drink. Resort had the best towel service I have ever seen. There were always available beach towels, which is great. Last but not least is the management - poor performance or 1 star. Resort had funny rules, that did not have any sense, but managers did nothing to improve this situation. some restaurants had dress code that doesn't meet resort performance at all. On 30C they expect you to wear long pants and shirt, while AC is not working whatsoever. Left side of the bar needs masks, but right side doesn't. Mostly there were rules designed to intimidate guests, but management kept enforcing them, without being able to explain why! The kept saying "I am the manager" and ,,"I don't make the rules", which was pretty funny. A lot of people were yelling at them for the rules that don't male sense, but they kept pose looking stupid and did nothing to ease their customers. It was sad to watch! Overall - Great place, poorly managed!

We had dinner at Fuentes tonight and it was wonderful. The food was excellent and the service was impeccable. Lizbeth and Lupita went above and beyond to make sure you left a happy customer. There was a mix-up with our order that was clearly my fault and even though I admitted it was my mistake, Lizbeth insisted that she would change our dishes. I was highly impressed with her service. Also feel the need mention our experience at Tokyo 2 nights earlier. Chef Israel did a masterful job , he was entertaining and the food was delicious. Also our waitress Selene was exceptional, very attentive and pleasant, great job by both.
