The exterior of the Guanajuato Basilica is painted a powerful shade of yellow with wine red detail and doomed roof. It is positioned on a slight hill which when viewed from the town makes the basilica stand higher than the surrounding buildings and if viewed from the surrounding hills it gives the illusion of the Guanajuato Basilica elevated above everything else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful yellow colors that stands out apart from the rest of the city. On the tour we learned the Europeans have them the Virgen Mary and the miners donated the stand she is on. There is preserved body I didn’t get too close to read on it
