BD Experience Dominican Republic - 77503 Cancún

If you use a travel agency or company, make sure they don’t use BD Experience for airport transfers! We arrived late at the Cancun airport and after waiting for 1.5 hours to get through customs, had to wait an additional half an hour for our transfer to the hotel. They had plenty of vans and the workers just stood around talking to themselves. They said we needed to download their app to schedule a pick up time for our return trip. I downloaded the app and it stated a pick up time over 4 hours from our already early flight. I sent a message requesting a later pick up time (2.5 hours before our flight) and they said it was impossible. Why would I pay for a private transfer if I couldn’t set the time to be picked up? We ended up eating the cost and booking a taxi back. Requesting a refund through our travel site now. Just pay for a taxi if coming to and from the airport!!!

Terrible company would never use again. I have traveled to Cancun numerous times and always booked a shuttle with my holiday package and this was the only time I had to wait for the shuttle to arrive. After a 9 hour flight standing waiting for your transport by the side of the road is the last thing you want. It appeared they only had one vehicle so as people got off flights they were taking them to there hotels. Booked a trip with the rep in the hotel and it was a total disaster from start to finish and when you complain the rep who was happy to keep messaging me to get us to book trips blocks you and the other rep just says write all the problems down and customer service will be in touch. Well guess what they never were Would definitely not recommend and will never use them again

Absolutely horrible. Our airport driver dropped us off at the incorrect terminal. There were many families on the bus. The driver, when we got to the airport, took all of our luggage off the bus and told us to get off. By the time we realized we were at the wrong terminal, the driver left. My family had to pay $50 for a taxi from one terminal to another, as our deadline to checkin had already passed. I tried to message the BD Experience through the app we were told to download. I messaged them 3 times (once to our rep directly, and twice to the 24/7 service center). They never answered me, and deleted my messages. I will be letting Air Canada know the horrible service we received and will not be recommending them to anyone.

A two star because when we arrive to Cancun . They were quick. Julio was awesome and very attentive! But returning our flight was at 2:30 p.m. but we had to leave at 10:20 am from the hotel. Our ride didn’t arrive till 11 we tried contacting Johnathan ( rep for Occidental hotel) but he never answered our calls or texts. Till the day of leaving I went to office and he was rude. I complain how our ride hasn’t arrived and no one was answering our calls . I had called two day before to change my brother ‘ s ride because they schedule him to pick him up at 3:20 am , even though his flight was 11:00 am . We tried to reschedule but it seems Johnathan was too busy . But whatever it is done ! Never taking my transportation with them . I usually rent a car and that what I will do next time .

I used BD Experience for transfers from the Cancun Airport to the hotel and then back to the Airport from our hotel at the end of our stay. As a tip for future travels using BD Experience, their “booth” is quite far out from exiting the airport. They are stationed almost at the very end of the walk outside. I would recommend booking a private van just because you save time not having to wait for others and additional drop offs at other hotels. We also used them to book excursions since they had a representative everyday at our hotel. From the transfers, the pickups for excursions, and even pick up from the hotel at about 3am, BD experience was extremely punctual and friendly. If you speak Spanish it’s a big plus as you’ll be able to coordinate things with them better. We really didn’t have to use their App other people have mentioned. A representative texted us and let us know if we had any questions they would be able to assist. Overall great experience! I’m somewhat surprised to see lots of negative reviews.

Booked our trip through Costco and BD experience was the transportation to and from the airport for us and also we booked 2 excursions through them and they were WONDERFUL to work with. The people in red at the airport are very easy to spot outside after a long flight and heckling as you leave the terminal, and they’re English was very good, we felt very safe with them. It was very convenient to have a BD representative right at our hotel and made booking activities with them very easy. They were super helpful and knowledgeable and I highly recommend using their services while in Cancun.

We have booked 2 Tours with BD experience during our 2 weeks vacation in Mexico. The first one was an all day tour to Tulum (Maya archeology), swimming in a Cenote and snorkling with turtles at Akumal (incl lunch). We paid around EUR 118/person for this day tour (incl pick up). All in all the experience was really nice, we saw a Crocodile in the Cenote and we saw a lot of turtles. This experience is unforgettable! Our Tour Guide Uriel was excellent and very nice! But we have spend 3 h in the bus in the morning and about 1.5 h in the evening. In the evening we have understanding due to traffic jam but in the morning the route must be organized more efficiently and in smaller groups (because in the end we anyway had to change into smaller groups and busses). We have lost so much time and had only little time for the archeology part. The Lunch was nice. Our second trip was called Mud Madness (ATV drive, swimming in another Cenote, making Guacamole and mixing Cocktails). This was a 1/2 tour for about EUR 100/person but in very small groups (actually we were in 2 because another couple missed the tour). This experience was amazing but we had the feeling of being in a hurry (our driver came back too early to pick us up so we could not really enjoy our cocktail and the atmosphere). We‘ll give 3.5 stars due to 3h drive between Playa del Carmen and Tulum during the first tour; however - we can recommend BD experience.

We traveled to Cancun with Air Canada and were partnered up with BD Experience as a shuttle to our resort. The service was great from the get go and the person welcoming us had very useful tips that I would have liked 3 years ago, on our first trip to Mexico! We decided to book an excursion to Chichen Itza and Cenote Maya through BD Experience (they had a booth in our resort's lobby); after reading the reviews, my stomach was in knots and I barely could sleep that night... But our experience was fantastic! Alltournative picked us up on time (early bird so we could see the pyramid before it became too crowded); they stopped on the way at a 7/11 so we could buy coffee. Our guide, I believe Marcus was his name, was knowledgeable and interesting throughout the whole 3 hours drive. Before arriving at Chichen Itza, our van stopped on the side of the road to pick up (free) sandwiches and apples to give to our group. Upon arrival at Chichen Itza, we were given time to use the restroom; we did not feel rushed, our guide gave us a lot of history and we even had time to explore by ourselves after. We then went to Cenote Maya; took place in a Mayan Ceremony before repelling down the cenote, ziplining, and swimming in crystal clear water. We were then offered a traditional dish, which was amazing after our excursion. Shuttle back to the airport was also arranged with BD Experience, they arrived on time and we made it to the airport safe and sound. To anyone still reading, all I can say is positive from our experience, and I hope yours will be as great as ours! Experience of a lifetime! Thank you!
