★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I booked a room here, when I arrived they told me it had been overbooked and could not complete my reservation. Just not professional in anyway. Had to jump through hoops to get my money back and wasted hours finding another place to stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Never had such a horrible experience. Booked our room, it was confirmed. Messaged back and forth with staff (questions about location and things to do). THE EVENING BEFORE WE DEPARTED, they message me that they DO NOT have a room for us anymore. Mind you, it is December, I have small children....where am i going to stay??? They claim there is a glitch in their system blah blah blah. I was trying to be economical, but finding a hotel last minute ended up costly. I'm hoping this is a blessing is disguise. FYI, There is NO parking, they recommend you park in Walmart parking lot. Stay far away from this place, it will cost you so much more stress and $$ having to find a place to stay .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location on 5th Ave (near beach) botique decor, friendly front desk. However BFH needs to update and remodel the place. I had several issues , mattress quality sucks , the beds were super thin and rock hard , I told the manager they have better mattresses in Rikers Island! After complaining and contacting booking.com, offered me a better room the next day. The standard double rooms is a economy room, wouldn’t recommend. The upgraded rooms are a little nicer , however I had several issues with shower and toilet to the point I just checked out early and got another air bnb. Manager tried to accommodate me but this is not a long term stay hotel maybe 3/ 4 nights max.
Pros: location (center of 5th Ave strip ), hot breakfast , friendly front desk , great AC, nice pool & whirpool, overall clean premise.
Cons: Rooms are outdated , poor quality furnishings , spotty wifi, no fridge in rooms , toilets wouldn’t flush , asking for extra pillow or towel was like pulling teeth.
Overall 3.0 stars out of 5 stars
