★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Knots and tension in my shoulders has been plaguing me for weeks. So when I ended up in Melaque, Mexico, after attending a cooking class and chatting with some locals, i checked out Beauty Salon & Massage Silvi's. A 10-minute walk from La Paloma hotel made it an easy choice. Silvi's touch was firm and pleasant and I learned she had studied massage. The private room had music and an hour later I walked out feeling great. I will be booking again. I might even try a facial.

Table firm. Problem; face pad not attached kept sliding, disruptive.
Therapeutic massage; not necessarily so. Haven't experienced standard massage therefore, no comparison.
Therapist did acceptable massage; just wasn't therapeutic, based on my 50 years of experience, receiving massages. I would go again for basic massage.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oh my god I wish I had learned about this place before I got it all done in Canada before I came. These girls keep a beautiful clean shop. The first day I came in for THE BEST pedicure I’ve ever had in my life. After admiring my beautiful feet, I booked the following day for an acrylic fill, gel polish, and some nail art. Not only are the girls fantastic at their jobs, they are friendly, professional, speak pretty darn good English, and the prices are amazing. I will never get my stuff done pre vacation ever again because they are my go to girls now. Better job, without a doubt. My only regret is they are a 6 hour flight away. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just had a gel mani/pedi from Jobana. She did an incredibly thorough job getting all layers of dead skin from my beach feet and making sure all cuticles on hands & feet were well oiled afterwards. I will definitely be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My girl friend and I each had a pedicure and it was thorough and great. My girlfriend also had her toes painted and they did not charge extre for it. Then she had her nails painted and was very happy with the outcome. The prices are so reasonable. The three ladies doing the work when we were there were knowledgeable and very pleasant. Enough English is spoken to make it all work. Very worthwhile. I recommend this place.
