The school is located in a colonial house in the heart of the historic center. It is Spanish for foreigners mainly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our family of 4 took private classes here for 2 hours a day during our week-long vacation in Oaxaca. They were excellent and the teachers were able to adapt the classes to our fit the different levels of knowledge within our family. They were also very accommodating with our schedule, as we visited Monte Alban one morning and were able to shift our class time. The staff is fantastic. We highly recommend the school to others!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I found Becari after an extensive search of schools in Oaxaca. I just spent 4 months (20 hours a week) at Becari, and I absolutely recommend it. They customized my program, found me a host family, and were always flexible with my needs. The teachers are amazing and the setting is tucked away from the business of Oaxaca. I absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for an immersion in beautiful Oaxaca.
