Best price in Merida. Stand up guys. Didn’t negotiate, just gave me a good price from the beginning. The car I reserved wasn’t available so he upgraded me to a bigger car for the same price. My money from the deposit was returned to my card faster than promised. I was very worried they would try to scam me or charge me for some pre-existing damage because I was previously scammed in Mexico renting a car but everything was above board. Also manager speaks English. Cannot recommend enough for expats/foreigners.

I was always hesitant to rent a car in Mexico because I have heard too many stories of unsavory businesses practices from the car rental agencies at the airport which resulted in the customer paying up to 5 times what they thought they were gonna pay. I found Beel on the internet and decided to give them a try due to the great reviews. I met the owner who personally picked me up at my Airbnb. I was able to get a newer Toyota for $850.00 MXN($42.61 USD) per day with insurance and unlimited miles for a trip I made to the State of Campeche. All they ask for is driver’s license, passport and $5000.00MXN ($250.66USD)deposit. I have already rented vehicles from them on 3 other occasions and the experience has always been quick and easy. My deposit appears back on my card after a few days of returning vehicle in the condition I received it. I wish renting cars in the United States was as simple. I have never been made to wait in a long line or required to fill out complex forms. I highly recommend that you go nowhere else to rent a car when visiting Merida. You may find cheaper places but their reputation is not as established as Beel. I trust them 100%. I have never paid a cent more than the price that was given to me upfront.

Very good car rental company. When you want to rent a car, with a different company, usually there are issues or they try to overcharge you. That doesn't happen at Beel. If you are looking to rent a car in Merida, you should rent from Beel. They also speak English, which was helpful.
