★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hands down favorite restaurant in Mexico City Roma district went 2x in 4 days. Incredible breakfast! I don't know why you would eat anywhere else. Every dish is made with quality ingredients, super delicious! And generous portions. Best French toast I have ever had. Service is good. They have an English menu if you request it. It's nice that you can sit inside or outside. Because it's on the corner of the street, there is lovely sunshine in the windows. all so wonderful that you can get coffee with coconut milk if you are dairy free.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Belmondo is our go to breakfast whenever we wake up in time and we arnt to lazy to get some good breakfast. We’ve been here a couple times for lunch and dinner too, they have some pretty good sandwiches and appetizers but breakfast is hands down simply delicious. The bacon and eggs had nice fluffy scrambled eggs and nice thick cuts of bacon. The chilequiles had a salsa verde and was a very good portion. French toast was burnt on the bottom but we’ve had it a couple times not and this was the first time it was like that. The service was good here, Victor has been our server most of the times we went and he is really nice and attentive. Victor also speaks some English too making it easy for anyone who doesn’t speak Spanish to order anything.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got the burger and a beer. Can't go wrong with Modelo Especial but the burger wasn't good at all. Bacon wasn't cooked that well, was really rubbery. 210 pesos for just the burger so I was hoping for a lot better quality.
Service was mediocre too. Slow, not very friendly.
Soul la Roma across the street is a better option and better value.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lots of people working on laptops and phones. Nice atmosphere and wasn’t crowded. Helpful staff and good price. This avocado toast and Americano was 160 pesos. Tasted delicious, pan full of flavors.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On this day in Mexico City I was in search of a Tuna Melt sandwich and Belmondo did not disappoint. The sandwich was excellent and the customer service was great. The only negative was my margarita. It was terrible!! I definitely plan to return because there are other items on their menu I want to try.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited before and I enjoyed the place but not this time. Ordered the French Toast and it was soggy and a little cold. Even though menu advised 15-20 minute prep time the order came out right away. Like it had been prepared in advance. Then there was the bad service. Had to ask 3 times for a fork after food was served. Same with request for more coffee. Disappointing experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite yum, had roasted veg sandwich and martini. Like that they serve pickled veggies too. Wish they had tossed the salad , all the dressing was on top leaves, leaving the bottom greens too clean. Servers were plentiful but more focused on chatting to each other. Also, only the female servers had masks and face shields, while the male hosts had nada, not even uniform? But the hosts seemed to provide most attentive service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love Thier food normally but underwhelming breakfast. First. Serving old bread reconstituted with butter nearly ripped muy gums open. Asked for jam to ease the border tensions and it was only for a few. Asked for a second coffee and we'll food is done and never saw it. The bacon was amazing. Love they love dogs. Doubt I would do breakfast here again. Lunch seems more likely. Everyone was super polite and good atmosphere. Too bad the breakfast lacked the quality of other experiences. Guess that's why it is empty and all the sureounding places are full?
