★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very clean, state of the art and modern. They can make zirconium crowns in house SAME DAY, make their own temporaries within MINUTES and overall I would highly recommend them above any other office I’ve been to in NP. All this at a fraction of the cost of other offices. GREAT FIND!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great professionals, assistants speak very good English and service is incredible... got a surgical extraction of wisdom tooth to which I was quoted $3000 in Houston... was only charged $280 with Benitez Dental Clinic and included Xrays, Cleaning, anesthesia and the surgery... went next door for the prescriptions and was only charged about $20 for all the meds. My parents got implants done as well... their service ranged from $1400 to $3100 there.... about 10% of what I would have been charged in Houston not including the meds. Overall exceptional experience and well worth the 5.5 hour drive from Houston... saved thousands! Town has great food and shopping... really safe too and easy in and out of the border!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thought I would wait a while before writing a review. It's been 1 1/2 years and my teeth are still good!
They pulled a wisdom tooth, a regular extraction, two bone grafts and 6 implants. Also a partial crown and probably a couple other things.
Took about a year to get it done with 4 trips from Tennessee. Could have gotten it done quicker but I was having teeth problems in between (no fault of theirs).
They did a great job and the savings were tremendous even including travel expenses. They are busy but always were efficient with services. The lab is upstairs so crowns are ready the next day. If minor adjustments are needed they do it on the spot.
Now I have an old crown from 20 years ago that needs replacing. Checking with my local dentist it's still going to be worthwhile to make the trip down. I guess we'll make a vacation out of it and stay at South Padre Island. The dental savings will "pay for" the vacation. And still probably be cheaper than the dental cost in the states.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The office was very clean , and the work they did was of great quality. Dr. Ivan was very skilled and his staff was professional. They were very caring and did exceptional work. I highly recommend Dr. Ivan Salazar and Benitez Clinic. I have had work pending for sometime, but Dr. Ivan Salazar was quick in diagnosing and starting the work the same day. They also had the latest technology and in-house crown production. They do root canals, implants, bridges, and more all for a low price. I was happy overall with the experience. The area is safe and very accessible. Not to mention Belen was extremely helpful in answering all our questions and making us feel comfortable. Great experience, and highly recommended!
If you are going from the Texas side I recommend walking across the border and not taking your car with you. You can park your car in the parking lot right by the bridge before crossing. Nuevo Progreso is safe and you can also do some shopping there as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very impressed with the service that I received. Had a root canal and a crown done and couldn't be happier with their work. Nice clean office and friendly staff. Would rate them as high as any of the American dentists I've been to. Will definitely be back in the future when I need more work done. They are our new retirement dental plan. $500 was the total price for the root canal and zirconia crown.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to visit Dr. Benitez today because I was experiencing discomfort in my right, lower, jaw. The pain radiated to my middle ear and into my thyroid gland. I thought I had a cavity or that I might need a root canal. He explained that the pain could be associated with my rheumatoid arthritis. So, I opted for a deep cleaning since there was no cavity (he did some x-rays and examined the area where I was experiencing discomfort) and I had my previous cleaning in 2019 (before COVID). $50.00 for a deep cleaning is an excellent price, compared to local dentists in the Rio Grande Valley! He's a very great doctor. He doesn't speak English; but, thankfully I'm bilingual. The young man at the front desk is super-friendly. I scheduled my next deep cleaning for August. I'd recommend this dentist to anyone who is looking for a professional who has reasonable prices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great and affordable prices as always! drove from Austin to fix my root canals filling that fall off after 3 years. American doctors want just for one teeth $4720 dollars lol. Called Benitez then went driving from Austin almost 6 hours but worth every mile. I did all my teeth, again all my teeth: root canals, cleaning, 8 fillings, 2 crowns, metal post and Zirconium for $1275 ONLY!!! no charge for Xray no charge for anesthesia to numb an area of your mouth which is so awesome!!! please go and enjoy shopping there, cheap and lovely food, take your family with you as well! Thank you Dr. Rodrigo for brand new teeth I have now...
