★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful town with a colorful plaza filled with restaurants, souvenirs and antique shops. You can have a view of Peña de Bernal monolith. I would consider staying a day in this town and maybe have hike.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely on the touristy side, but this is understandable given its star attraction, the mountainous Pena. The town still retains a distinct charm and is a good place to grab a cafe con queso bun or surprisingly delicious mojito.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super cool little Puebla. The Onex and hard stones are amazing and cheap. Great jewellery, hats and keepsakes!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gorgeous little town. Very friendly locals and delicious food. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful experience this is your place. Do plan accordingly, most businesses will close early (by 8 AM is hard to find a place to eat). Plenty of small shops with all kinds of handcrafted souvenirs. If you are visiting, you must try the "gorditas." I recommend you asking for "gordita de chicharrón prensado" - you will thank me later. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I fell in love with this town. The cute downtown, friendly people and the view of La Peña makes me want to visit this town again and again. The hike up the Peña was a little rough but the views once you get to la capilla are amazing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small quaint town is situated below the third largest monolith in the world. The beautiful scenery of this town is magnificent and the people are very friendly. This is a wine lovers place to be, as vineyards are abundant. Cheese is a must, and the "gorditas" are a delicious delight. Definitely a trip to add to your checklist.
