Best Bikes Cozumel - 77600 San Miguel de Cozumel

My boyfriend and I took the ferry to Cozumel and rented bikes for the day. The bikes were great quality and had gears. For the specialized bikes it was ($250 pesos/bike for the day). The staff were friendly and helped us get the bikes adjusted to our heights. They gave us their WhatsApp incase we got a flat tire they would come fix it, we didn’t end up needing this but it was nice to know it was an option and made us feel safe. The shop also rents motorized scooter. I would recommend walking past all the guys selling by the ferry to rent from this shop. We enjoyed chatting with the owner Phillip as he was very friendly. We will be back next time we are in Cozumel! The bike path is paved and is separate from the main road making us feel safe from cars. We road 7miles to sky reef where we could lock up the bikes and swim/snorkel. Sky reef doesn’t charge for beach access and chairs and included with a purchase of food or drinks. The bike rental was easy and it made for a really fun diy Cozumel snorkeling day. This is an awesome way to see the island.

Highly recommend hiring a high quality bike from here as a healthy and fun way to explore the island. Located very close to the ferry port, is this bike hire shop. Bikes are in very good condition and Cozumel is well equipped for cyclists. The owner is able to give tips on where to go and offers snorkel gear too. I’d easily come back in future. Reserve online in advance.

If I could give more then 5, I'd do that! Philip was so kind and informative. I rented the bikes for 3 days, but ended using then only 48 hours, and without even having to ask him, he charged me only for 2 days. Also, the bikes were great, and Philip even gave a lock, an elastic strap and snorkeling mask, all free of charge! Thank you very much. I really enjoyed Cozumel, a lot thanks to you!

Great personal service, owner speaks English, and bikes performed okay (brakes rubbing a little). They give you their Whatsapp # in case you have bike trouble. The cost is $25/day for each bike.

My wife and I rented bikes from Phillip for the day. He was knowledgable about the island and suggest great points of interest. We biked about 40km total. The bike path is easy to follow and very safe. The bikes were great and he even included snorkel gear. I would highly recommend both Best Bikes itself and exploring the island by bike.

Great Bikes & Location! Just a few blocks away from the center square & ferry. I come to Cozumel every year & I love renting a bike to get around town. (This way I’m not hassled by the aggressive sales people outside all the shops.) Best Bikes also offers their WhatsApp # so if anything happens with the bike. You have someone to contact, who speaks English.

This is a great way to see Cozumel. Philippe is a great guy and wants to make sure you have a good experience. He makes sure the bikes are working well, offers locks, helmets and snorkels, and makes great suggestions about where to go to according to your interests. We rode about 120 km over 3 days with only one minor issue which Phillipe was keen to fix as soon as he heard about it.

I read the reviews and when I went it was as I expected. I got a great bike at a great price, I was offered snorkelling equipment, helmet and got a lock. I was shown placed on a map so I could plan my route, and we exchanged WhatsApp and was shown how to share my location if I got into any bother. Returning bike was easy, no concern around bike and just showed interest in my day. My tip would be to call in advance if you want a bike they are in high demand.
