All the major tourist attractions are a stone throw from our properties. The Santo Domingo complex, Basilica of the Soledad, Institute of Graphic Arts are just a few attractions which are within 15-25 minutes walking distance. The tourist street, Alcala, which runs from Santo Domingo to the zocolo, is a mere 1/4-mile away.

The Oaxaca Intl. airport is about 20 minutes away by vehicle from downtown. From the airport the collectivos are readily available to assist and charge between 60 Pesos to 120 pesos depending on property location. A trip to the airport from downtown in one of our 2 taxis is 120 Pesos. The city's first-class bus station is located in the downtown area and cost 35 Pesos by taxi to any of our properties.

We represent selected homes, mostly all are in the barrio of Jalatlaco, not only for their location  but also being well lit having an abundance of natural light and are well ventilated and quiet for their location.

We can assure you that our vacation rentals are clean and in perfect working order upon arrival. If in the event something does occur, we are fast to respond to whatever problem may arise. The host are either living on the premises or just a phone call away.

Fluent English/Spanish is available at Alma de mi Tierra Apartments and Agua Azul, your other host will speak very little English.

The infamous local indoor-outdoor market, La Mercado de Merced, is just a short walk away with its wonderful fruits, vegetables, breads and dairy and least not forget the arm-loads of fresh flowers. Our location also provides convenient access to many Spanish language schools, two of which are right in our neighborhood.

Oaxaca offers an extraordinary array of concerts, live theater, lectures and famous art institutes. Classes are offered in painting, sculpture, weaving, dance, photography, and ceramics to name a few. There is a wonderful English language library nearby with a very large collection of books in English.

All of our rentals are turn-key and only need for you to enter and enjoy. The price of your rental includes all utilities, television and cable as well as WiFi. Our rentals are located in secure, quiet locations, some within walking distance to the zocalo.
