My stay in best western was a really nice esperience. The room was well lit and equipped and has nice service all around. Its just outside of montemorelos so the location is nice. I would reccomend it again.

Not a lot of options in Montemorelos, this was supposed to be our best option. A long list of issues to consider if staying here: - Staff seem apathetic and not really helpful - First room had an odor, requested room in newer section of the hotel but got dismissed and then got a different room still in older section, less odor but still there - Experienced very hard water (high mineral content translating in dry skin, tangled hair and no foam from the soap/shampoo) - Furniture old and general status of the room I stayed (201) seem neglected - Coffee maker failed after the third day - Key cards failed after the second day, two different rooms, same day. It took over half hour to fix since there were 2 people in front of us at the reception desk We opted for staying in Monterrey and adding a 2.5-3 hour round trip a day just to avoid this hotel

Best place to stay in Montemorelos and at a decent price. Size of the swimming pool is good.

Nice clean room. Bottled water and coffee included in room and good basic breakfast included in cost. Hotel staff very accommodating. ? Beware staying on a Saturday night during the summer if you want a good nights rest unless you are a heavy sleeper. Kids screaming in the pool until 1 am and then a party outside with a live mariachi band with amplification from 1:30 am until 4:30 am. ?

Nice place to relax but I’ve had a few incidents that are concerning. This is my fourth time staying at this hotel. We really don’t have a better option in this small quaint town. This last visit has proved even more concerning due to my vehicle being vandalized and the manager could not or would not do anything about it. She said the hotel is NOT responsible for what happens in the parking lot. This is a complete outrage how can a hotel not be responsible for what happens on their property!! Absolutely ridiculous! She asked for my contact information and said she would provide me details of the vehicle that struck mine but she needed a day to view the footage of they’re cameras. The “person” who was o charge of video surveillance was off and she said she would let me know the next day. She has not even bothered to call or text me and I just called the hotel and the front desk help said the manager is out on an emergency. My truck was wrecked and my rear window wiper blade was pulled off my truck! There’s was footprints all over my hood. I am furious that they asked for vehicle information at check in and the cameras are not even on!! So what’s the point if they are not even taking care of guests property on their hotel perimeter!!

Staff is kind, service is excellent. The place is small but comfortable. The pool is clean, but also small. They have some places to grill but you have to reserve it previously, we did not know it so we could not grill there. The room was clean, good bed, just the TV signal was broken so we can not see any in TV, also the wifi was good but not to support you tube videos in TV or even Netflix. Included breakfast is enough, not the best but enough for the money that you pay. In general it is a good place to stay.

The staff is friendly and will go out of there way to help. I mentioned the pool was a bit dirty and within minutes they were cleaning it. The hotel has an older wing and a newer tower. The rooms in the tower are nice and modern, and have tile floors. The rooms in the older wing are not nearly as nice and have worn out carpeting (never good in a tropical location). The restaurant is good, especially for lunch or dinner. Breakfast was adequate but they use too much oil to cook their eggs. Overall I was pleased but the I will say the hotel is definitely overpriced for Mexico but given that it is the best hotel in Montemorelos, they really have little competition.
