★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hotel Posada del Río had a great restaurant and the pool was clean and refreshing. Friendly and helpful staff. The pianist added a nice touch to our breakfast Sunday morning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I called to ask if there was any rooms available for this evening and the male who answered asked where I was calling from, I stated that I was calling from my phone and I needed a room for two adults and two small children. He said I have a room available but said he we wouldn't be able to get that room because of the children. I told him my children where under the age of 3 and it would be okay with us to share a bed with them. He then instead said well you would have to come right now to book the room or I will give it up if someone comes now. It's very disappointing that best western does not accept children visitors at their locations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been coming to this hotel (and 2 others on the area) for 20 years. I enjoy the breakfast, and dread everything else. Tonight we just moved out of a room that smells of sewage. Many rooms are too noisy for sleep - the cinder block building conducts sounds from wedding receptions, family reunions, or other loud guests. The exercise room has the same broken down stationary bike from 3 years ago. I don't want to stay here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I must say we have been here many times over the last few years and the service great, food good, quality good, comfort good, cleanliness good. Lost the 5th Star because our night was sleepless due to poor A/C. I've been up over 36 hours now and found another hotel for Friday night. But can't sleep until we complete our nephew's graduation event later today.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spent 4 days at the Posada del Rio in Gomez Palacio a beautiful traditional little gem in the middle of the city, nice place, excellent service, the staff went way beyond our expectations, we want to recognize Javier Caldera for his exceptional service and outstanding job, always ahead of our needs.
Free breakfast was amazing, the traditional Mexican food was outstanding in a traditional decorated dining room, we will be back for sure!!
