El agua Bialé proviene de los manantiales que nacen en los bosques de Santa Catarina Ixtepeji, en la Sierra Norte de Oaxaca.
El bosque de Santa Catarina Ixtepeji está certificado por el FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) y reconoce el adecuado manejo forestal que realiza la comunidad.
El FSC es una organización internacional que establece los estándares sobre lo que es un bosque manejado de forma responsable, tanto ambiental como socialmente. A través de la certificación que el FSC hace al bosque, se garantiza la calidad de los productos provenientes del mismo.
