Desde sus comienzos hace 100 años, primero como Escuela de Ciencias Químicas en Tacuba y a partir de 1965 como la Facultad de Química de la UNAM, nuestra Facultad ha estado a la cabeza de las instituciones académicas afines del país y ha formado a varias generaciones de profesionales de la química, coadyuvando de manera muy significativa a preparar a egresados líderes, que han influido en la transformación industrial de México. La labor académica que a lo largo de este tiempo ha llevado a cabo la Facultad de Química, le ha servido para obtener el prestigio y reconocimiento internacional del que ahora goza.

Excellent collection of books. It has an online catalog. Check that the book you want to carry does not have the "Does not leave the library" stamp.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Creo que solo le falta mayor facilidad en cuanto la búsqueda de material bibliografico se refiere, dado que a veces es algo tardado encontrar material muy especifico. Por lo demás se encuentra un poco por encima del promedio de una biblioteca, en cuanto a calidad de material si se encuentra sólidamente por encima del promedio
I think it only lacks greater ease when it comes to searching for bibliographic material, since it is sometimes a bit slow to find very specific material. Otherwise it is slightly above the average for a library, in terms of material quality if it is solidly above average.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El personal de esta biblioteca es muy amable, es un buen lugar para estudiar y dormir entre clases, lo único malo es que no hay suficientes conexiones para lap tops y la RIU llega a ser bastante inestable. El acervo es bastante completo.
The staff of this library is very friendly, it is a good place to study and sleep between classes, the only bad thing is that there are not enough connections for lap tops and the RIU becomes quite unstable. The collection is quite complete.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La biblioteca está bien desactualizada, no tienen muchos ejemplares de un mismo libro y todavía tienen otros tan viejos que mejor están para usarlos en el boiler. La atención es regular, las computadoras no sirven o sólo se la pasan usando los alumnos para chatear. No hay suficiente luz y casi siempre parece gallinero alborotado.
The library is very outdated, they do not have many copies of the same book and they still have others that are so old that they are better for use in the boiler. The attention is regular, the computers do not work, or they only spend it using the students to chat. There is not enough light and it almost always looks like a roost in a row.
