Tiene las mesas y sillas iguales a las de otras bibliotecas públicas sobrevivientes en la Ciudad de Mexico; mismo modelo (color de la tela, geometría, comodidad, tamaño) que recuerdo de otra hace más de 30 años. Tiene, por ubicarse dentro de un edificio antiguo, columnas gruesas y techo muy alto con seis tragaluces. Le dan una apacible y agradable vista las paredes recubiertas con maderas a media altura - aproximadamente 2 m - en tonos oscuros de muy buen estado de conservación., coronados en tres de sus muros por un mural titulado "Paisaje de Azcapotzalco ", cuya placa ubicada en un muro divisorio registra al autor, Arquitecto Juan O'Gorman, en 1926. El acceso es un portón de madera de dos hojas y las amplias ventanas también están fabricadas en madera, todo barnizado para dar el mismo tono y brillo al material, consiguiendo una buena combinación con la construcción y las mesas. Aunque el acervo es pequeño comparado con otras bibliotecas, ofrece el servicio de uso de computadoras por un período de dos horas.
