About Biblioteca Los Mangos
En 1993 un grupo de ciudadanos preocupados por fortalecer la vida cultural de la ciudad y las oportunidades de la población de acceder a ella, se reunieron para constituir Pro Biblioteca de Vallarta, A.C., una asociación civil que convocaría a residentes, visitantes, gobierno y comunidad empresarial a unir esfuerzos para construir una Biblioteca para Puerto Vallarta.
Finalmente, el 30 de noviembre de 1996, la Biblioteca abrió sus puertas por primera ocasión contando con 15000 volúmenes y atendiendo un promedio de 1,500 usuarios mensualmente. Biblioteca Los Mangos:

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the main public libraries in Puerto Vallarta. Almost everything is in Spanish so if you're looking for a book in any other language it's likely it won't be found here. The library has many events open to the public which includes food, entertainment, readings, book signings, etc so there's a lot that might be of interest to almost anyone. I only took the tw photos, cameras aren't allowed inside.
