Bici Bucerias Bike Rentals & Tours - 63732 Bucerías

Had a wonderful time. Enjoyed riding an electric bike for the very first time. Pepe was a wonderful guide and I loved learning about Mexican culture and tasting great food along the way. I would definitely recommend. Had not ridden a bike in several years and has no issues. Enjoy!!!

We had an amazing experience with Bici Bucerias! Great 65k ride through the region experiencing the sites, sounds, wonderful people, and beautiful culture of Nayarit. All aspects of ride were attended to, and we ended the adventure with some great lunch and drinks. Gracias!

First, you couldn’t have asked for better service from Pepe, knowledgeable, experienced and goes out of his way to share and show you the ropes of the area that can be safely biked. My wife’s mountain bike was fine, but mine had many issues. Pepe did fit the saddles for both of us and gave us kits and lights since we were riding 30 miles. After riding for a bit, I noticed that the bike was squeaking badly and I could see that the bike’s front wheel was severely out of true and wobbly. I stopped the bike and noticed that the front skewer was loose, not good. I tightened it but the tire still wobbled and probably the front hub was squeaking severely. I also felt that the stem was way too low given my height and the handlebars were very wide. This meant that I had to drop down further and was leaning far too low and my neck was now squealing louder than my front hub. It was the difference between an enjoyable country ride and pure pain for the 15 miles returning to Bucerias. We had to stop every 5 miles or so for me to unkink my neck. When I returned, I told Pepe, and I think he knew it was too low as the fork had been cut too low. He mentioned a new angled stem would work and I agreed since a new fork was expensive. I would also suggest a new and shorter handlebar would ease the lean as well. Overall I think a better mechanical effort would be good for these rentals.

Jillian, Joel, Adi and Pepe make a great team at Bici Bucerias. My private guide for a couple of days was Ezekiel. He did an outstanding job, too. I recommend this company without hesitation. Have been visiting Bucerias for a number of years now, and finally got around to booking in a ride with Bici Bucerias. It was such a fantastic experience riding with Joel. The bikes were in great shape and the routes well thought out and fun. Joel was extremely knowledgeable and was able to provide background and stories of the different areas. Overall a fantastic experience that I would recommend to anyone. I can't wait to be there again in March for another ride. Sean

Great people, nice bikes, great rides! Our guide Rene was fantastic and took us to Sayulita and Fortuna. He pointed out every hole, gravel patch and speed bump (lots of them) on the rides. Our 80k rides were just right for a morning and we returned to lunch waiting for us. I had a carbon bike with some handlebar suspension - nice for the cobbles! Rides will have a mix of urban to start but open up to quiet roads. Bring cycling gloves as the roads can be bumpy. Mexican drivers are respectful of cyclists and we never felt intimidated. Given the guide, quality bikes, service and food, the prices are good. E-mail communication regarding rides is excellent. Skip Starbucks and get coffee from the small coffee bar inside the shop!

My husband and I had a wonderful experience on the bike tour. Pepe was a great tour guide. Lot's of laughs,and we met some new people along the way. Pepe was very nice to take pictures of the group when asked. He offered to take our picture, and had us pose like the couple on your mural. So fun! Your daughter was very helpful and makes great coffee! We highly recommend the tour. Great food,drinks and a bit of history on Bucerias. We look forward to joining you again. Hopefully next year. You got got to do it! I haven't been on a bike in years and it was so easy with the e bike. It is an excellent way to explore Bucerias and experience the food you would unlikely find on your own. All the places we visited, I will be going back for sure. The food was delicious. Pepe was a fantastic tour guide full of information about the area the food you are eating with a little history throughout. I took the morning food tour but there are other options as well. I think the evening tour for my next one. ?
