We were greeted at our taxi by Fernando and he made sure we were taken care of all day. Excellent food and amazing, but strong drinks! The beach and the water were both very clean. They offered snorkeling but I opted for a massage on the beach instead, which didn't disappoint either. Only downfall were the constant vendors but it comes with the territory, and the more you drink the less they bother you! Will definitely come back if we ever make it back to Costa Maya!
J	Jesica Coronado on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was average, prices were average. Cruise ships do stop at this area so it can be busy, we went on a Tuesday when it wasn't as busy. The waiter said Sunday-Tuesday they are less busy vs Wednesday-Saturday. Their waiters also didn't check up on us very often and we often felt forgotten. On the bright side we were able to park in their lot and sit on the beach at no additional charge! Just had to eat and drink.
N	Nancy Gillard on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very friendly staff. I recommend the all inclusive day package. There were 5 in our party. We had a reserved table in the shade and 5 lounge chairs by the water. Also included, lunch from the menu & unlimited drinks. Arrive at your convenience. Taxi from the cruise ship $4/person one way. Taxi at the end of the day was extremely easy to find, $4/person. Thanks Big Mama's for a fun relaxing time.

A	Arcy Hernandez on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Big mama is an affordable beach club in the center of the malecón/boardwalk in Mahuhual. We got excellent service from Jaime. The food was delicious and fresh, and the price was very affordable. We spent two of our days on this beach club. They have a sectioned off and area in the ocean so to keep the Sargasso away so the beach was pretty clean. There were absolutely no rough waves in this area. I was able to take my floating hammock and chill hours and hours in the ocean by the speech club. Our total each day was around $30 usd.

We enjoyed our lunch, the chimichangas are delicious and crunchy. The burrito is massive! The tacos are fantastic... the tortillas are some of the best we have had. Work your way past the other restaurants along the beach and give Big Mama's a look before you commit to anything.
