★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I totally loved the dive experience with Sofi, she is so passionate, well trained and dedicated to the divers. Always with a smile and super caring.
The only negative point was the other divemaster working with Sofi. In my opinion that girl seemed to be in a bad mood, uninterested as she was only taking photos for herself with a flash, so sometimes you could not even see as she was blocking the view. Finally I find quite awkward (she supposed to be a divemaster eh) that she throw a banana peel to the ocean. You can say it is organic or whatever, but specially someone with such a certification should not show disrespect to the ocean in that way.

The instruction was excellent and the natural enthusiasm and buoyant mood was infectious. We would happily recommend her for novice or experienced divers looking to explore the ocean around Puerto Escondido

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the most wonderful time diving with Sofía. Her energy, kindness, patience and love for the community and the sea makes it truly an unique experience. It's impossible not to feel comfortable and relaxed after joining her and her team, on one of the many dives she offers ( ask for a night dive and you will maybe even experience bioluminence.. ). Thank you so much for making us feel part of the team and giving us also many tips for activities to do around town in an ecofriendly way. We will miss you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a really enjoyable day’s diving today with Sofia and her team. Sofia stands out for her warm and friendly nature. She was very accommodating and honest about the conditions- cool water temperature and poor visibility with strong swells- but dive master Dani was excellent and made me feel comfortable in the water despite several years of not having dived.
A massive thank you to Sofia, Dani and the rest of the Big Wave team!
