★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Since there are a lot of questions about hours, I asked today, and they said they open around 6:30am and close around 2. Note this is winter hours. There were very busy but we did not have to wait.
They serve both goat and beef birria. They were only serving goat in soft tacos; beef in soft or hard. We had goat (Chivo). They gave us a litttle broth with the tacos which was like a French onion without the cheese - delicious. The people were also friendly. This is one building in from the corner and no sign that we could see on the building but the foto on this website is correct, kind of an arch to enter. There are bathrooms.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bernardo from Puerto Vallarta Food Tour brought us here on our tour Saturday.... the Birria was delicious. So good in fact that my son wanted us to come back the next day for more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Go early for the goat (chivo) and either get the tacos dorados (fried taco shells) or the plato (the bowl with meat and broth together and tortillas on the side). You can also get the broth (consome) on the side. The goat runs out first, the beef usually lasts a bit longer, but they run out of everything by about noon every day. They open at 8am. Delicious, tender, flavorful, filling, and mostly locals there so you know it's good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious tacos!
For those who don't know, birria tacos are usually eaten as breakfast food. So keep in mind that this place is usually closed by early afternoon. Also, don't get confused if they expect you to know what to order. They don't have an actual menu, because a menu is not needed here. You just have to tell them what meat you want in your tacos.
Definitely a must try when you're in Vallarta!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a delicious taco stand with amazing birria soup! Very reasonably priced with good service - we sat at the stand outside instead of dining in at the restaurant. Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best birria soup and dorado tacos we had on our four week trip. Friendly staff but mask wearing haphazard. Near Los Muertos brewing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Must go in PV for tacos for breakfast/lunch.
It’s a bit hard to find because the Google Maps location (as of Dec ‘21) is a bit off. It’s right of Los Muertos Brewing. Also, hours are off too, it closes at 2pm and is open for breakfast.
