Blater Hotel - 70934 Puerto Escondido

What a great hotel! Very clean and bright. The restaurant at the hotel serves excellent food all day. You can eat in the restaurant or at one of two very beautiful pools at the hotel. It was full when we were there, but it was usually very quiet, relaxed and felt private. The hotel is right across the street from the beach. What a view!! It was like being in a dream!!

1 king size bed room with side balcony with view to the ocean. 120 USD/night. With AC and bad wifi. Water filter in the lobby to refill water bottles. The room is very nice and clean. Door has mosquito net. Bathroom is also very nice with plenty of hot water. Cable TV (programming with only Fox News in English, no Netflix etc..),Internet is very bad, constantly dropping. For this price I expected at least complementary coffee in the mornings. Bfast is not included. You are basically paying to be by the beach with a very nice rooftop infinity pool with views to the ocean. Despite the hotel being completely empty upon my arrival (me being the only guest at the time) They didn’t allow an early check in. I found that very ungracious as the room was ready and the hotel empty. That being said, the staff is just following what they are told to do. All staff was super kind, helpful and hardworking. Parking is available as well as a second pool on the second floor which hardly gets sun, only around noon. The location good, quiet, a 10 minute walk to restaurant area. Hotel has beach access. For the price I found this hotel lacking in some areas but overall experience was good.

Clean, great view, private beach, good beds. Book directly, for better rooms and prices.

I’ve been here for 10 days We were supposed to be there for 3 days and we loved it Super clean rooms with sea view Amazing terrace pool with the view of the ocean Amazing stuff that are always here for the costumers asking if we are good all the time Great food with an amazing atmosphere and prices Worth every dollar we spent It’s in a quiet place on the beach with private beds Five minutes from the playa zicatela shore Everything we needed we got Will surly come back A little Wi-Fi problem but I didn’t care at all

Was here for 6 nights. First 3 nights on the lower floor in a double bed. Room was dark , fan was thick with dust. Upgraded to the best room on top floor. Room was much better. Took me 5 days to realise you order drinks to pool and Room through WhatsApp. They should have bottled water put in your room every day not just for one day

Amazing place with great view and great service. The rooftop with the pool is amazing. You have the most beautiful view. Views from the room are great as well and you hear the waves at night. I wish I could stay more. The only thing is the internet is not strong enough to be able to work. And it's not close to zicatela restaurants area. So you have to walk minimum 10min to find a restaurant
