I have never felt more disrespected. The waiters look coked out as they ignored me. Had to ask several times to be served. Go to Ritmos café just beside . You’ll be much happier!

Let's start with the positive... It's conveniently located and all the staff are very helpful and friendly. The food at the hotel and across at the beach (same menu) is fine (not exceptional), convenient, and reasonably priced for a hotel. Nightly entertainment was high energy and fun. The hotel itself must have been grand in it's day. But today it needs a lot of love. It's generally run down. It needs some serious capital investment. My room (701): I had hot water most of the time. That would sometimes require letting the sink run for 20 minutes. Wifi was poor and intermittent. Very annoying. There was a coffee maker but the hotel has no coffee packs to offer. To plug in the microwave you had to unplug the fridge. Don't forget to plug it back in or you will come back to the room to find water all over the floor. The curtains in the bedroom could not be drawn so as to overlap and block out the light. I have 3 phone chargers and none would stay in the power wall sockets except in two locations. Some of the lights did not work (need new bulbs?) There was a rusty screw (pointed end) coming out of the floor tile on the outside deck right in a spot you would be certain to step on it. If you were barefoot, you would rip up your foot and need a tetanus shot.

The ritual hangout to lay around on the beach. Food not too bad and a decent deal show around sundown. Also a decent brunch on Sundays. Could be better if they renovated the rooms

Great location, great rooms, however the beds are basically box springs. Sleeping on the floor would have been better. The pool is in the center of the buildings and gets absolutely no light. However the balcony views are beautiful

We were not staying in the hotel but stopped for lunch in the chair section. The service was simply terrible. The servers were far more interested in drinking shots with the fellow sitting in front of us than serving their patrons. The food when it finally arrived was great but it took another 30 mins to get someone to bring us the bill. Will not return

I've never been to this resort before and all I can talk about is the upstairs rooftop bar. I had an amazing experience, it was a hot day but the wind up there made it cool, and it was beautiful just watching everybody from the parasailers to the people in the water and everything in between. Highly recommended! The staff is amazing! Super accommodating!

Stayed here for a week after Christmas through New Years. Decided to give it a go despite some of the iffy reviews. For starters, fantastic location! You honestly can’t beat where it’s located on the gay beaches and the nice beach sand. This isn't a great place for children FYI. The staff was amazing! They managed to help us get an extension on an already fully booked week in town. Literally no other hotel spaces left in the Romantic Zone. The service was slow on occasion as is understandable when it’s busy, but the friendliness helped keep things moving. Food is mediocre, could be much better for the quality cuisine you can find all over Vallarta. As for the hotel quality, it’s obviously aged. Our room was comfortable and came with a partial ocean view. It seemed to be updated in the recent past. Bed was of good quality, a king size, mini fridge in room and small loveseat. The one complaint was the door, very poor quality, all sounds could come thorough it. Pool was never used, was badly centered in the middle of the towers, the beach was a better bet to use. Also the elevator, it was broken occasionally or just way too slow. Much faster to climb the stairs. The hotel also randomly lost water twice while we were there. I’m sure it’s common in Mexico, just something odd. All of those come with older hotels so we didn't mind. Overall we loved the stay, as long as we get the same room next time! I say don’t mind the other very negative reviews. But be sure to pay for ocean view as I think those rooms are better updated and make for a much better experience.

This place is a dump! I do not recommend this to anyone. AC unit leaked all over my bed, was offered a different room that was more of a dump. Decided to move the bed to the other side of the room. Little to no hot water daily, barely enough water came out of the shower head to fall down the shower wall. Kitchen had a gas stove and microwave and very old pots and pans, but no refrigerator. There was clearly a refrigerator in there at one time, but not for my stay. Floors had not been swept or mopped in years. Bath towels had stains on them. Elevator did not work for majority of my stay. Never once did I see anyone in the pool, so that made me nervous to get in. They were very shady about me checking in a couple hours early, even though the room was ready. Did not make me feel welcome. When I reserved the room, it said "partial ocean view," but this was an interior room with no view other than the pool, which was a waste. Don't waste your time staying here. It's a dump! Paid $120 USD per night December 25-29.
