★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is much nicer than you'd expect from the curb view -- a common reality in much of Mexico. Dishes are carefully executed; hospitality is typically great. Well worth a visit. I look forward to trying the aged beef.
Local expectations are for large portions para la comida (the midday meal) and, while that's not my priority, Blue Rose Bistro observes this convention.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Juan was a fantastic server with excellent english, super friendly and knowledgeable. Hibiscus and raspberry margaritas were both very good. Tomato soup was great. Beet salad was good, but I would get one of the other salads next time. The cobb, greek, and small beet salad were very large, had lots of olives and other good ingredients. The Key Lime Pie was great, best one I've had outside of the Keys, and better than most I had there. Love the atmosphere, furniture, and decorations here, but I would say that there is a lot of traffic when you come, then you probably should try to eat inside, we started outside but the heavy trucks etc weren't super relaxing for dinner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Blue Rose has really good food. We had the grilled tuna,
The deviled eggs, the walnut shrimp. All delicious. But Blue Rose specializes in steaks.
Latin American meats have different cuts than the US, except for Uruguay and Argentina. So make sure you order correctly.
A winner!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Outstanding steak - and service! The Angela's Favorite filet with sun-dried tomates and grilled vegetables was excellent. The parmesan fríes were cooked more at my request and rounded out this entre. We both felt these were some of the best cuts of steak we have had in México.
The desserts come from a local French pastry show, we split the walnut pie with ice cream and should have ordered one for each of us!
The Blue Rose also offers a number of craft cocktails, I.e. Kiwi Margarita or Beet/Mezqual Margarita.
Excellent service from both Juan and Juan Pablo. They are both very attentive and made sure we had a great experiencia. ¡Gracias!
