Las habitaciones tipo cabaña, están muy bonitas. El lugar tiene acceso a zonas privadas de la laguna. Hay hamacas en areas comunes. No hay recepción ni restaurante. Cerca quedan dos restaurantes si quieres algo más tienes que tomar taxi. Se encuentra a unos 10 minutos del pueblo en coche. La atención es vía WhatsApp.

Séjour au top. Notre chambre cosy très lumineuse avait une vie imprenable sur la lagune. L accès au ponton sur la lagune permet d être aux premières loges pour admirer le lever de soleil. Contrairement à d’autres commentaires l eau n y est pas marron juste moins claire qu a certain endroit. Petit conseil : louer un kayak pour aller voir le canal des pirates c est magnifique.

Boa boa staat voor mij gelijk aan prachtig prachtig! Wat een heerlijke en rustgevende plek is dit! We hebben 3 dagen in de "jaguar" geslapen... buiten het feit dat we wisten dst er geen airco was hebben we heerlijk geslapen! Elke ochtend was er een fantastische zonsopgang vanuit ons bed te zien! Fantastisch! Het contact met de staff verliep via WhatsApp. Ze reageren snel en staan 24/7 voor je klaar. Ik had gevraagd voor een romantisch dinner aan de pier en ze kwamen met een geweldig plan! Jhovany je was een goede gastheer voor ons dinner! Osmar, Lorena, Jhovany en de rest van de staff, onwijs bedankt voor deze geweldige ervaring in Bacalar!

Dog friendly and the kindest service team you could expect! ?

Amazing place. Quiet and peaceful rooms in the « jungle ». Our room was vaste and confortable. The furniture is nice. The bathroom makes you think you are showering in nature it is really funny. The balcony’s view is just wonderful, especially early in the morning because the sun is rising. There is also a private deck where you can enjoy the Laguna. We loved our stay, I really recommend this place :)

As an european couple traveling with a dog (IG @cocotravelstories) we were really happy to find a hotel during our trip trough Quintana Roo with such perfect conditions! Especially the pet friendliness, which is always a big point for us, was more than expected. We were allowed to go every where with her and everyone was so kind to her. The hotel with its nature, artistic and sustainable style not far by car from the centre of the town offered everything we needed. Highlight for us was that not one single tree was cut to build it. Owner and Artist who designed everything, totally adapt it to the nature conditions, which is definitely worth it. From the private atmosphere, the activities (kayak/sailing), our recommendation a tour with Roberto, Vero and the "Utopia" where you get the experience of the whole region and the lagoon of the 7 colors, an own entrance to the sweet water lagoon with a very nice temperature and the excellent service of Osmar, Carla, Max and the whole staff which are the heart and soul of it. Perfect place to enjoy your trip in Quintana Roo away from the mass tourism. Thanks to the whole Boa Boa team!

Beautiful place, lovely rooms. Excellent beds. Fridge and safe in the room, free water and coffee in the room. From the jetty easy water access. Walking to the city for restaurants about 35 minutes. Taxi is very cheap, 50 MXN. Wifi in all restaurants, so you can easy contact them. Numbers you get from boaboa. Communication with Osmar very good and quick. Our room Jaguar is located over another Room. Thanks for the beautiful days.

A beautiful hotel with wonderfull rooms and a magnificent view of the Laguna Bacalar. The owner Joao gives his guests a wonderful service! They are working on a restaurant, up till that time it is possible to order food from local favourites with help from the hotel personel. The flexibility and cliënt friendliness are as it should be! A wonderful way to spend a vacation at Laguna Bacalar for people who are looking for a quiet place to stay.
